“Excellent tour! Value for money!”

Spent a great afternoon at Tas-Salut, Mgarr. Location is wonderful and the view is breathtaking. Didn't have an idea of the flora we saw this afternoon. Guide was well prepared and knowledgeable about the subject and area. Extremely friendly.

Tasting session was totally enjoyable with the highlight definitely being the freshly picked strawberries! Enormous and tasteful!

Well done Merill!

“Wonderful ... in all aspects!”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

I had the unique opportunity to go on a private Merill Eco Tour with a group of friends. The location our hosts chose for us was the Salut orchard found in Imgarr/Gnejna. The breathtaking scenery at this place makes the very inclined hill worth climbing. We were given information with regards to the geographical area of the orchard, and about all the products the farmer (owner) of the orchard cultivates all year round like lemons, oranges, strawberries and fava beans to mention a few. The tour also included tasting of Maltese products like cheeselets, sundried tomatoes, olive oil, honey, capers, olives, farmers' wine and the delicious list goes on! Whilst recommending Merill Eco Tours as the best way around rural Malta, I look forward to another different tour myself as this orchard is only one of the lovely attractions Merill offer!

An afternoon to remember. Breath taking views and delicious Local products which we were able to taste. Enjoyed the tour with Jeanette who surely does her job with passion. Also the perfection in the preparation of refreshments. Will definitely go for another tour in the coming months!

Had the opportunity to experience one of Merill's experiences and we were all satisfied with the service, with the location and was worth every single euro. An experience to remember and I highly suggest it to others.

“See TRUE Malta!”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

Had the good fortune of a guided tour by Merrill Ecotours. When arriving to Malta, this was they Malta I wished to see... the raw beauty, private estates, gardens, local food, hidden treasures. So happy to have experienced a day with Jeanette and friends, getting the rare opportunity to feel like a local and indulge in those treats few visitors get the chance to experience. It didn't feel like a tourist outing, but a day shared with friends and genuine conversation with people who love the same things we do. The smile never can off my face for the duration of the day, and the photos taken can reignite that smile any day. Looking forward to more outings with Merill and seeing more hidden gems in Malta.
