Myself and my friend Ann-Marie stayed here the August Bank Holiday weekend 2012 for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay at Clunelly House our room was really big with two double beds (amazingly comfy beds) and an ensuite the room also had a view of Lough Foyle. I Can not fault it at all but what really made our stay was Sheila and George. They are by far the nicest, friendliest, most sincere couple I have ever met and we were really sad to say goodbye I could of definately stayed a bit longer!

I guarantee you, that you will not find better service in any 4 star or 5 star hotel. They go above and beyond for their guests, Sheila even gave us a lift from the B&B to the Hotel where our friends wedding was on and again the next day. The breakfast is really good too!

Sheila and George definately give the warmest welcome in Ireland you have to go and see for yourself! Thanks Sheila & George :-)

My friend & I stayed here for 3 nights while attending our friends Wedding in the near by Redcastle Hotel. What can I say - well I've nothing bad to say, put it that way! Sheila and George are one of the nicest, most friendliest couples I have met. Don't hesitate in booking in for a stay! The service we received wouldn't be received in a 4 star hotel! We Love Sheila & George!!

Smiles From,

Ann-Marie & Jess (Dublin)

George and Shiela could not have been more welcoming or helpful to us during our 3 night stay over bank holiday weekend in august 2012. Having driven over six hours to get there, we were promptly offered tea and biscuits. While enjoying our tea we were given leaflets and information on what was available to do and to go and visit during our stay. Our en suite room was huge and immaculately clean, and had a fabulous view of Lough Foyle. Towels were changed every day and the room had an iron and ironing board. It also had tea making facilities. Breakfast was second to none. Juices, fruit, bread, eggs of all descriptions and of course the full irish, were all on offer and each tasted better than the next.
Should i ever have reason to go to this part of the country again i will definately be calling CLUNELLY HOUSE B+B.

Sheila and George are not the youngest- but certainly the kindest couple we met. They must have been running their B&B for ages, and still you feel like a special guest.
We stayed with our 8 year old son. The friendly neighbour children played with him on the vast fields around the houses, and George and Sheila kept emphasizing how safe it was. And it was indeed- he had a great time there!
Our room was large and nice. We did sit in the big chairs for hours reading. The WiFi worked, after we sorted out a small passwordproblem with George. And Sheila did our laundry, which was really helpful as we stayed in hostels before and after! Thank you both- it was great!

George & Sheila were fantastic. Sheila greeted us at the door upon our arrival, showed us to our room, and offered tea, coffee, and biscuits. Of all the B&B's we stayed at during our 10-day road trip across the country of Ireland, our room at George and Sheila's was the largest and boasted a desk and sitting area along with 2 beds. The en-suite bathroom was great, too.
In the morning, George and Sheila provided an excellent breakfast. George was an exceptional breakfast host.
They treated us like family. It was a great experience.

We truely enjoyed our three night stay at Clunelly House; the details described on Clunelly House's website (www.clunellyhouse.com) were absolutely accurate. The bed and breakfast is very well located to see the sites in County Donegal and County Antrim -- all are within a couple of hours from it. The rooms have expansive views over Lough Foyle.

Sheila and George are lovely hosts, offering wonderful hospitality -- and advice about touring the area, offering directions, as well as, noting good places to eat. The bedrooms are quite roomy, with small sitting areas and other extras, such as an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities (and good cookies!). The towels were changed every day.

A nice touch -- was the tea (or coffee) with breads that Sheila offered upon our arrival. One is spoiled for choice at breakfast -- and we tended to favor Sheila's scrambled eggs and rashers. Fruit, cereals, breads, juices and yogurts also are available.

If we return to County Donegal, we would choose to stay at Clunelly House with Sheila and George, once again. Do try it yourself!
