Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a comfortable, affordable stay at Zagora.
The Owners were hospitable, curtailing to our every need and extremely professional. They constantly asked us for our opinion on things so as to improve the place.

The rooms were spacious and more than comfortable. The big plus is the balcony overlooking the Aegean. The bathrooms were clean and large. Overall, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the rooms.

The only small problem was that there was no wireless internet at the hotel, but it was something the owners were under the process of fixing. There was though ethernet connection available in each room (any cables provided by front desk).

The breakfast buffet was bountiful and had variety, though I would have liked for the various homemade pites to be served hot.

I plan on staying here in the fall after such an enjoyable summer stay.

Room Tip: stay in a room with a balcony.

This family run hotel has the best service I have ever seen! I felt as though whatever we needed was offered to us straight away!!! To give you just one example from today, my niece had asked her mom for some water and one of the owners brought her a glass before her mom even got up from the table to fetch her some! The pool included a kiddy pool off to the side and the yard was perfect as we adults were able to enjoy our coffees while keeping a close eye on the kids! Really it is a newly-built, clean hotel with spacious rooms and panoramic views of the Sea. It is great because you stay in a picturesque village and you are a very short ride from a gorgeous beach, Agoi Saranta! I definitely recommend it!

We stayed at this small hotel for a couple of nights in mid-October. The hotel is traditional and very beautiful and clean. It has been recently refurbished. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious with their own fireplace and spectacular views to the Aegean. They also come with a kitchenette that comes in handy. The breakfast seems (and probably is) homemade and the cheese pie delicious. The village is OK but nothing special. It is very close, though to the sea and I think that would be an advantage in the summer time.

Whereas everything was from beautiful to breathtaking, the service was not up to standard. The lady that runs this facility, apparently on her own, was never to be found and when we did find her she seemed unable or unwilling to provide help or even advice on where to go or eat. The heating wasn't working and neither was the fireplace but even though we reported the problem, nothing was done about it.

So my mediocre rating is mainly based on service. Otherwise I would have given the hotel an excellent rating.
