“Excellent little gem!”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

We just wanted somewhere clean, reasonable, and with easy access to Paris...... And ohh yes it met all expectations.
Very quiet
Excellent service from staff especially Vincent 20/100 lol. They all couldn't do enough and was so accommodating.the food is lovely and it has a real good French feel about the place.
Rooms are clean and modern and just what you need for a place to sleep and stay, it is very safe and all coded to get in anywhere.
Right next to Garibaldi metro line(light blue) and takes you into centre of Paris in 5 mins.
We loved our time there and would defiantly go back, thanks Vincent your a French gem

Room Tip: There all good!

very nice and clean hotel and the bathroom was very spacious. staff was friendly with directions. though the location is a little out of the city, the hotel is situated just right next to Garibaldi station. the blue line goes direct to Champs Elysees - Clemenceau station. there is a supermarket just on the next street, making it extremely convenient.

only complaint was that the streets below were noisy and our sleep was disrupted.

for the price, this hotel provided great value.

After 30 hours travel, we appreciated the warm welcome from Amahl, and his helpfulness. Our 3rd floor en-suite room (steep stairs!) was clean and comfortable, overlooking a neighbourhood park and the local church. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast each morning, and dined at the hotel cafe on three occasions. The staff were always friendly, and in spite of little English being spoken, we managed to communicate without too much difficulty. Being greeted with handshakes and a warm "Bonjour!" each morning was a delight. The location across the road from Garibaldi Metro station provides easy access to all parts of the city.

Room Tip: Request ensuite ...just a few rooms have this.

Dear all,

the hotel is 10-15 minutes away to the Champes elysses with metro. The metro station is near to the hotel, at 20 meters, only crossing the street. Is on neighborhood workers, there are some inmigration. But is not a problem, because if you want to visit París, you will stay in this zone only to sleep.

The hotel hasn't reception, is a bar-restaurant-pub with rooms. When we arrived the employees offered us something to drink, and brought the baggage to the room. The employees were very friendly, every day ask to us if there were any problem, and if we was liking our visit to Paris. The hotel hadn't elevator, we was on the third floor (the last) and the stairs wasn't to much heavy to up or down. During the day, the hotel was a Bar and a Restaurant, with a Menu every day very cheap, 13 € two plates and or coffe or desert. Other prices was cheapers than the center in Paris. At the night there was music, but it couldn't listen it from the rooms.

The rooms was small, but news and with a great decoraton, very confortable. There was a shower and to clean the face and hands, there wasn't wc, it was shared, one in every floor. It was clean.

the clean service if you stay more than 3 nights is one in the week, it is usual in Paris. Last day the hotel offererd us to keep our baggage in the hotel.

without any doubt after we search a lot hotels, i believe we made great decision, and if we will visit again Paris we acommodate another time in Avenir Hotel!!

Really there is nothing negative to say about Cafe Hotel de l'Avenir. Even the location, which is a little bit outside of city center is not a problem, since this hotel is located right in front of the metro station. Also, Monmartre is very close. Stuff was very friendly, bed was comfortable, room was very clean and everything looked like brand new. There was a bathroom in our room, and shared toilet in the hall. However, there was no crowd, so miss-location of the toilet wasn't a problem. Finally, the price is more than cheap, giving all the aforementioned reasons. Lovely place to stay!

lovely place with "garibaldi" metro opposite makes the commute into paris easy and quick. Staff extremely friendly and rooms although not large a good size. Shared toilet which we did not find a problem as we were not in the hotel for long and it was always kept clean. Given a complimentary drink and helped with luggage. Free wifi. We had a couple of evening meals there which was really nice - do 3 courses for 11 or 13 euro. Concern was regarding smoking, there was an ash tray within our room and one morning we could smell smoke which came from another room, also had a cigarette burn on the duvet. The hotel was clean and room tidied each day. felt staff did go the extra mile, I believe its a family business. had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend it!

I don't speak French, so it was comforting to arrive and be able to communicate a bit with the hotel check in. They were very friendly and offered to buy me a drink as soon as I put my things down. They also gave me a double room without extra charge, so I had my own toilet and shower. It was a very tidy room, and the location is just off the M13 line which is great. The only issue I had was that they allow smoking in the hotel, and I could often smell the smoke which would wake me up. Other than that, great hotel!

Room Tip: Smoking is allowed in the hotel, so be careful if you don't like smoke!
