We stayed for a week in early September with our 12-month-old twin boys, and grandparents in tow to help!
The gite is really lovely, clean, well-equipped and spacious, and was ideal for our two boys to crawl around and play in.
The village is just a few houses and a (very good) pizzeria so you will need a car to get anywhere for the day, although there are plenty of attractions within an easy drive and the coast is just over an hour away.
The owners Simon and Sue are really friendly and helpful and made us all feel very welcome.
Beautifully renovated cottage, with a relatively private sunny garden perfect for sunbathing or eating outside. Such a gorgeous place for parents to relax without worrying too much about the kids. We were holidaying with a 21 month old toddler and there were plenty of toys to keep him entertained in the house as well as the swings and slide, sandpit, trikes, pool etc. outside. The house was well "baby-proofed" too, with stairgates, high chairs and most breakables out of reach. Very well planned out for a toddler-friendly holiday. It is a countryside retreat, and you really need a car to drive anywhere. But there are plenty of options for day trips within an hour's drive.
