The Boathouse Row was truly outstanding. The location is stunning, the house is beautiful and Toni did everything to make our stay one to remember. Everything was perfect and the large stone bath with a view of the lake and the amazing breakfast was to die for.

Wow - Boathouse Row was amazing! We had organised a pre-wedding indulgence and to stay at the guest house the night of the wedding. Toni (the hostess) had gone out of her way to make this such a special day for us!

Myself, my two bridesmaids and my make up artist arrived around 10am where Toni had set up a space for us to get our make up done and get ready. This space was overlooking the water and opened out onto the lake - it was so beautiful and relaxing. Around midday Toni had provided us with a light lunch - this was delicious, she had made sandwiches, fruit skewers, cheese platters and brownies (baked freshly by her daughter). We had also prearranged with Toni to have our wedding photos taken at the guest house prior to the wedding. The property provided the PERFECT backdrop to our wedding photos! It was just so beautiful - we had photos taken on the pier over the lake and in the gardens.

After the photos we all left for the wedding and my husband and I returned to Boathouse Row later that night. We woke the next day to the most stunning tranquil view of the lake! Toni then provided us with a lovely continental breakfast.

My only disappointment is that we couldn't stay for longer - Boathouse Row is an amazing getaway and Toni really made this day so special for us. I would highly recommend the pre wedding indulgences to other brides and the property to anyone who needs to escape.

My partner and I stayed at Boathouse Row for his birthday. We were greeted by a warm welcome from Toni, whom explained everything about the history of the property. My partner enjoyed taking the dingy out on the private lake and taking photos of all the animals in the area. My favorite part was the stone bath that over looked the lake, and the exceptionally comfy bed. The end of the stay was finalized by a lovely continental breakfast with fresh croissants, smoked salmon, muesli and an assortment of jams with fresh coffee and orange juice, delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, if you are looking for a getaway that feels far from the city but is only a 30min drive away.
