“Fairytale Venue”
Reviewed 26 June 2012

We got married here about 12 weeks ago, had a fantastic day the fairytale venue was perfect and not even the wet weather could dampen our spirits, the only downside was we only had it for one day!! Can't wait to come visit again soon...looking forward to afternoon tea again too, it was fab!!

Room Tip: I would highly recommend the room with the turret in it, it is gorgeous, even over the bridal suite...

I married my fiance at Hampton Manor two weeks ago. We absolutely fell in love with the venue 18 months beforehand and it is the most beautiful hotel anywhere near the area. 15 individually stunning bedrooms and I've seen them all, trust me they're gorgeous.. even the "standard" rooms, let alone the breathtaking feature rooms, executive rooms and suites have the WOW factor with beautifully designed & spacious bathrooms in each.

Set is a beautiful picturesque location, this former family home of Sir Robert Peel dating back to the 17th century is stunning both inside and out with a cosy yet perfected feel and look about the place. Modern design mixed with classic, vintage decor. As the bride and groom we spent two nights (night before and wedding night) in the gorgeous Sarah Ireland suite... otherwise known as the master suite. Stunning and we very much enjoyed the amazing facilities this room had to offer including the private steam room. Perfect for a romantic break but then every room is...
Then there's the food - Peels the hotel's restaurant which is open to the public must be due it's first michelin star soon. The food is amazing and I'm pleased to say they offer good value set menu a la carte deals at lunchtime and weekday evenings. Hiring the hotel as a wedding venue was the best decision we made. Being equipped with only 15 boutique rooms we had exclusive use of the hotel for the whole day certainly enough to accommodate our close family during our special day. Even though the Peels restaurant is open to the general public it's situated in such a proximity to the main hotel you wouldn't even know there were members of the public eating in another part of the hotel during your wedding celebrations. The food served to us during our wedding breakfast was simply exquisite and though being the bride I may be biased, I've NEVER been to a wedding that has served such fantastic food before.

All of these amazing experiences are topped off with the extremely helpful and accommodating staff who couldn't have been more professional, yet personable and attentive. I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about this hotel we visited several times prior to our wedding and also ate in the restaurant on three occasions beforehand - every time the experience was amazing. DO NOT think twice about this hotel.. it may be a tiny bit more expensive than some of it's nearby alternatives, but it's just delightful and well worth a visit. I only hope and pray the hotel and it's staff retain it's unique charm in the future as my husband and I can't wait to visit each year from now on!

Room Tip: Sarah Ireland Suite is amazing. Otherwise go for the Henrietta feature room, the Henry Martin featu...

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful venue. We stayed over for two nights on 6th and 7th June for the occassion of my daughters wedding. We had the most fabulous two days. The rain absolutely lashed down on the day of the wedding but that did not dampen any spirits or spoil the day as the interior of Hampton Manor came into its own spectacular glory! As local's we have eaten in the hotels 'Peel's restaraunt' and have always had top notch food. For the first time ever, I can honestly say that the food and wine served at the wedding was of equal quality to that in the restaraunt. (Something that has been lacking at other wedding venue hotels). The service impeccable and the young staff both helpful and professional. Thank you to everyone concerned who helped make the occasion of Helen and Paul's wedding the most fabulous and memorable day.

Me and my friend went to Hampton Manor for Afternoon Tea. We had a wonderful afternoon. All the cakes are baked fresh that morning. The peels restaurant is just stunning really modern. The Hampton Manor is set in a beautiful setting and just up the road from where i live! I feel like a lucky lady : ) Can't wait to return again to try out a nice evening meal.

We held our annual client summer party at Hampton Manor in June and just wanted to say how brilliant the service and venue was.

We had a BBQ (fortunately the weather was nice enough) which was absolutely delicious, we have had nothing but positive feedback from all who attended.

Thanks again to Jayne and all the staff for making it such a success.

Lovely staff, beautiful surroundings just my taste...in fact the staff were so helpul that I was even sent an email to tell me where one of the wallpapers I fell in love with was purchased!
All in all somewhere special to go for a treat.
