Description: The Beeches Bar and Grill is an informal yet chic restaurant in Solihull within the appealing village setting of Hampton in Arden, with chunky wooden tables inviting you to enjoy scenic views over the rolling hills of the Solihull countryside. Featuring six different steaks in varying sizes, the restaurant also has plenty of grilled fish, sharing platters, salads and tapas options, with traditional roasts on Sunday lunch. The restaurant is inspired by a simple take on top quality dining, offering a comfortable venue for anything from a lazy weekend brunch to a quick drink after work or even a round of golf. Despite its relaxed atmosphere however, it is still stylish enough to bring a touch of class to any evening out. Warm colours, cosy sofas and daily newspapers are also part of the experience. Whatever the reason for dining, you can look forward to a friendly welcome.

Went here for a mid-week meal and the place was busy, so booking is probably recommended.
Set in a prime location, with views of the countryside and the well-maintained grounds. We sat in the modern nicely-decorated dining room, but this is also a great place to sit outside.
The food was a good standard, and the service mostly reliable. There is an excellent choice of starters with the option of sharing 3 for 2 people. They have daily specials - I tried a hake main course special which was beautifully cooked and served with fresh tasty green vegetables. A rich warm chocolate cake rounded off the meal very nicely indeed.
It was difficult to choose our meals as there were so many inviting things on the menu, so we are sure to be back!

Visited Beeches many years ago and thought we would come again as it was a lovely summer's evening and we wanted a taste of the country, we remembered the stunning views from this restaurant and there is raw green countryside as far as the eye can see. As soon as we walked in there was know one at the bar so we waited like a pair of lemons and had to walk around trying to find a waitress, however aside from this initial poor service, our waitress was quite efficient although not particularly friendly. I opted for fried chicken in a basket with chips, my wife had sea bass, both were tasty and portions were adequate,,we had a couple of glasses of house wine and ended up paying around £55 which on balance is a bit expensive, but the venue and views certainly are worth paying a small premium. I tend to agree with other recent reviews that this place could be better, the service quality is ok, but not as good as you would expect and i'm surprised they don't have any outdoor seats and a hostess welcoming customers, average may be a bit harsh, but this venue deserves a bit better

This could be an excellent bar/restaurant. The problem is the surly, impolite bar staff. Everything seems to be a chore to them and they're incapable of the simplest please and thank you. Grossly overpriced considering the service received and feel resentfully obliged leaving a tip!

Visited for lunch and it was terrible. The service was non existent and the restaurant was to even busy! Staff miserable and not at all helpful. Food is sub standard for money. Interior decor looks cheap and in welcoming. We didn't feel comfortable here and would never return! Advice- don't bother go somewhere else!!

We have eaten here a few times, when in the area. The manager is fantastic, he remembered us each time. We started and finished our wedding weekend here. We planned a small family gathering for a Friday evening, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the flavours were great. Something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and the service has always been so fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
