We spent a week at Hazy Tides and really enjoyed the experience. It's a good sized cottage for two or three people, has a very well kitted-out kitchen with everything we needed and more, comfortable beds, a small garden with a view over open fields, bathroom with a good shower and a good sized living room diner.
Booking was straightforward, we had a few questions and found Elizabeth the owner to be really friendly and helpful and very quick to respond. The cottage is located about 15 minutes walk from the seafront in Walcott, where there's a shop with a reasonable selection and a very good fish and chip shop. There are more shops in Stalham about 5 miles away including the excellent Truly Local. There are several nice beaches within a short drive, Happisburgh and Waxham are unspoilt and dog friendly.
On the subject of dogs, this is a very dog friendly cottage. Dogs are allowed on the sofas and throws are provided for this purpose. There's a green area just over the road which is ideal for a short walk and several beaches nearby which allow dogs.
All in all a very pleasant, quiet place to stay, many thanks to Elizabeth for being so helpful, highly recommended.

Hazy tides is all you need for a relaxing weeks holiday.
Everything you need Elizabeth provides.
So many positive and accurate comments have been left by previous reviewers it is difficult to think of anything further to add! The cottage is indeed comfortable, warm, clean and tidy in a wonderful location. The kitchen has a fantastic range of utensils and was better equipped than any other rental property we have stayed in and we have stayed in over a 100. The welcome basket was greatly appreciated and Elizabeth was very responsive to any texted questions!
A beautifully decorated and furnished bungalow minutes from the sea. So very dog friendly with a basket of dog toys and a bag of dog treats in the welcome hamper, which also included a bottle of apple juice, some biscotti, a jar of jam, some bread rolls and half a dozen eggs. This is an ideal holiday home for dog owners and anyone who enjoys walking with lots of lovely walks very close by. The nearby pubs offer good quality food at reasonable prices. We hope to visit again next year.
Back from a lovely stay at Hazy Tides over new year. A well equipped cottage, with a great welcome basket of goodies including delicious mince pies. In a good location and close to the beach for long dog walks. We will return and the pooch appreciated the dog blankets for the sofa.
