I booked a spa day for two people to include an hours massage, facial, manicure and pedicure and St Tropez fake tan.
It was a wonderful experience. The two beauty therapists Amy and Beth were exceptional and attentive in every way.
My gripe is that in spite of spending £300 we were charged for our lunch at £16.
The Spa Day price list on the website states that lunch is included with the package but obviously not so on that note a little disappointed.

this is an excellent hotel to stay in if flying from manchester airport.plenty of car parking spaces and very nice rooms.food a little expensive and drinks are average hotel prices.stayed here with the wife and 2 small children and had no problems what so ever.staff very friendly and helpful.would definitely stay here again.also has a pool but never used it.

Although not uncomfortable, this hotel quite simply lacks character. It serves a purpose though as it is very close to the airport. Most of the hotel is on one floor and our room was reached by a very long walk along a series of corridors adjacent to outdoor court yards. The outlook was certainly pleasant both walking from reception and the bar area to our room and from our room. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom clean and modern.
The hotel is located almost immediately adjacent to the motorway which is a buzz with traffic all day and into the night but the double glazing on the windows blocked out all noise for us - no plane noise either. Its address is Hale road, Hale Barns, Manchester but it doesn't have a number and we drove the considerable length of this road (both directions) trying to find it when it was located right on the main roundabout at the beginning of the road - accessed directly off the roundabout! If only the literature available gave this vital bit of information it would have saved substantial frustration and battling roadworks on Hale Road (twice).
One saving grace was that wifi was free in the room (can't say the same for other Marriot hotels we've stayed in) and the receptionist friendly.
We didn't opt for the breakfast as it was an additional and high extra cost.

Room Tip: Ask for one close to reception if you're not looking for the exercise!

It's an ok hotel - but I've stayed at better Marriott hotels.
The room air conditioning didn't work and prob could do with a refresh - but it was fine.
Food in the restaurant was good, but not outstanding - I was just left a little unimpressed that's all.
However staff are fantastic and worked hard to serve well, no complaints.
All in all, good, handy for airport but not amazing.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your feedback.

I am sorry that your overall experience at the hotel was not up to the standards expected by a Marriott guest. I have shared your comments with my team at the hotel so that we may take some measures to improve in the mentioned areas. I do hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel again sometime in the future.

Have dropped my Sister and Brother in law off at Terminal 3. I needed a breakfast and being a loyal customer of the Marriott Group of Hotels, the Manchester Marriott Airport Hotel being close allowed me to get parked and greeted with a warm and friendly welcome.
I was shown to a table and ordered coffee, then I ordered 2 poached Eggs, done to perfection on toast on a hot plate with 2 sausage and 2 rashers of bacon. All in all the Marriott Breakfast is a must. The Staff are very attentive to detail and nothing is to much trouble, as they are in any Marriott Group Hotel. Always outstanding and highly recommended!
