In the spirit of Le Tour took to the roads for a glorious ride up through Nidderdale to be rewarded by a delicious breakfast at How Stean Gorge. Seemed so many things going on up there for kids and young teenagers so will definitely be back and probably with tents.

Beautiful area and loads to do for the more adventurous.

Lovely little cafe serving delicious snacks and cakes with plenty of walks in the local area to work the calories off.

Try a homemade Yorkshire slice. Delicious

I have just visited How Stean Gorge for a 40th birthday day out.
I was part of a group of 7 adults and we did the Gorge Scramble and Abseil.
George was our guide for the afternoon and he we had an excellent time.
All the staff where really helpful and it was a great afternoon sliding, jumping and swimming through the gorge not forgetting the Abseil into the gorge.
Highly recommend this for all.

I went caving with my boyfriend in December and it was a great experience despite the cold weather it was dry. Turns out it was only the two of us booked for that day which was perfect so we got to do quite an advanced caving experience with Monty climbing through tiny gaps and down waterfalls and crawling through the freezing cold water! Absolutely great birthday treat and we will be back soon to try the other activities out also.
