Very clean, well-kept B&B. My wife and I stayed for one night en route to a visit to Freckleton the following day. Ann was friendly and talkative, and served an excellent breakfast. Our room was a bit cramped but was as expected and satisfactory. It was getting a bit chilly that day so Ann made sure the heat was on for us. One pointer for future visitors, pay attention to the directions on the web site! We came from the opposite direction on the Longton Bypass and had quite a time finding the entry drive. The signage is there as advertised but you must look carefully!

My husband and I(!!), our recently married daughter and son-in-law and our best friends from "up north"! stayed at this fantastic b & b while in the area for an engagement party. Ann was very friendly and made us a most welcome cuppa on arrival. The rooms are really lovely and beautifully furnished with everything you could need. Ann was most helpful with organising taxis for us and the breakfast was outstanding with eggs from her own hens and everything you could want for a great start to the day. Our son-in-law has stayed at many b & bs with his job and said this was by far the best. We would all recommend this b & b without question.

Room Tip: All rooms are special.

We stayed with Ann for one night before setting off on The Ribble Way. It was just the start we needed, with a lovely peaceful and comfortable room which allowed us a good night's sleep before starting our walk. This, plus an excellent breakfast, made it ideal.
A real 'plus' for us was the fact that in our double room there were two chairs (something which we find is quite rare) which allowed us both to sit in comfort whilst planning the start of our trip.
Thanks for Ann for this added extra!

Stayed with Ann for just one night with my husband and brother on our whirlwind tour of the country doing Land's End to John O'Groats in nine days on bikes. Plenty of room to store bikes and off road secure parking. Beautifully appointed rooms with huge puffy duvets and luxury towels to make us feel very spoiled after coping with the bare minimum at hostels. Anne even accommodated two fellow cyclists we found along the way at very short notice and was very helpful in helping us to arrange pizza feast to re-fuel.
Beautiful and thoughtful full English breakfast presented immaculately. This place is really special, definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had an overnight stay at the Willow Cottage, Langton, near Preston, which was very pleasant and with an excelent breakfast. The proprietor, Anne, was extremely helpful and I can recommend the b and b to anyone planning a stop in that area
