Booked a night here whilst visiting family in Norwich and didn't want a boring hotel room so found this a few miles out of the city - perfect B&B, and worth the few miles, friendly pub, excellent local beers, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast. Would recommend and will re-book when next visiting.

We have just had Sunday lunch at the Pelican, a pretty pub in Tacolneston just outside of Norwich. The food was beautifully cooked, portions just right, with a really nice welcoming restaurant. Drinks were brought to the table by the handsome barman Matt and we felt that nothing would be too much trouble - very, very much recommended for a evening meal, Sunday lunch, special meal or just popping down the pub for drinks and a great meal. Loved it!!

Interesting pub with wide range of beers. We enjoyed an excellently prepared lunch with friends. The food was very well presented and portions huge! The decor added to the atmosphere with displays of agricultural and domestic equipment. There are attractive inside and outside eating areas. We will visit again as well worth driving out from the city.

Made a visit to the Pelican for a family meal and was very satisfied. Busy so obviously others feel the same. Good menu selection and good drinks selection although service was a little lacking. Will definitely be back for another try.

Lovely food, friendly staff. We always come back here, very nice, welcoming staff great food. Must book. Menu always being updated. Kids love it too. Kids menu is nice and home cooked. I had the fish cakes to start they are delicious and the steak to follow. Lovely.
