“Excellent seafood dinner.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2013

We were staying here, and wanted to eat here one night before we left. They are closed Wednesday, so tonight was the night. The room is very inviting....not large, with comfortable chairs and a large window wall overlooking a running river behind the restaurant. The dining room was full when we arrived, and stayed full until after 9 pm. Our table had not cleared when we came out of our room, so we had a drink in the sitting room in front of a small coal fire. Once seated we ordered a bottle of wine and dinner. My wife had a crabmeat appetizer and panseared scallops. I ordered a warm appetizer of fish and shellfish in a saffron broth and roasted monkfish. Both appetizers were good, but I think the crabmeat was slightly better. Dinner came with a gratin of potato and a dish was excellent cooked carrots. Both entrees were very good...perhaps the monkfish was a touch better. We finished by sharing a lemon souffle with fruit, coffee and tea...plus a couple of complimentary cookies. Very nice meal in excellent surroundings.

“Doolin dining”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2013

This was definitely one of the tastiest meals I have eaten in a restaurant. Starter of goats cheese was delicious and my partner loved his soup. We both had salmon for main course and it was delicious. I then had the trio of apple deserts- scrumptious, while my partner loved his homemade icecreams. A very pleasant experience

“Excellent recommendation by a competitor”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2013

Had dinner here on a Monday night in July since the restaurant at our B & B was closed for the evening. Our innkeeper recommended Cullinan's which was a short drive away, and we couldn't have asked for better. Carol was able to seat us at our requested time and four of us each had different entrees. We were all highly satisfied, and even stayed for coffee. Lovely candle-lit dining room; fire burning in front room when we first entered. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Doolin area looking for a special meal.

“gourmet food in Doolin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2013

We had an exceptional meal at Cullinan's restaurant. The food was delicious , the presentation beautiful and the service attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special meal. We had 3 different fish dishes and all were cooked to perfection. The starters were fantastic and the desserts were innovative.

“A Spectacular Meal”

This is quite a find and the best food you will find anywhere. We ordered the salmon and monk fish and both dishes were excellent. The chowder was great and filled with fish. Desert was amazing.
