Absolutely wonderful place to stay. We spent 3 weeks here just exploring the Clare county and a bit of Galway and Kerry. Owners are wonderful welcoming and friendly and can tell Irish jokes and are readily available for advice on where to go and what to do. Cottages are excellent, well appointed and very homely. All facilities are in excellent order and regularly serviced. Located amongst farmland and just a 15 min walk to the Pub along a typical country lane amongst friendly locals.
We had some days basically doing nothing and relaxing but when we wanted to see things there was plenty to do within an easy day drive there and back. The whole Burren region is a treasure and I will be definitely be coming back to Atlantic View Cottages and the locals.
Trip-tip: Go to McDermott's Pub or any of them after 10pm when the bus groups go home and the music really gets going. On our second night three locals sat opposite us and within 30 minutes they had lined up the Guinness pints and we were finally making our way home at 2pm......amazing people!
