Riverside Cottage is an old farmhouse in Doolin converted into a three-bedroom B&B by the proprieter,who has lived here almost all her life. Warm, tastefully decorated, living room with a wood fire blazing, a modern bathroom with the best shower we had during a week in Ireland, and a delicious breakfast. A short walk from a pub with great food and live music. Close the the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. We couldn't have asked for anything better!
David and I love visiting Doolin. Finding Breda and Riverside Cottage just made it perfect. We were greeted at the door, and immediately felt welcomed and at home. The house is beautiful, has a wonderful history, and you couldn't ask for a better host. Any future trips we make to Doolin, we know where we'll be staying.
Alan and I stayed at Riverside Cottage for two nights and Breeda welcomed us into her beautiful home with open arms. The cottage and rooms are beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable and Breeda keeps it all immaculately presented. Every time we returned home to the cottage Breeda welcomed us back with a hot pot of tea by the warm fire. Breakfast included a choice of full Irish breakfast or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or any combination of your choice, including cereal, yogurt and fruit. It was a pleasure to stay at Riverside Cottage and Breeda made us feel welcomed and at home....highly recommended !!!!
We arrived in Doolin on one of the stormiest days in a long time!!
We checked vacancies and Breada accommodated us instantly!
The room was beautifully decorated, as is the rest of the house.
The room was warm and comfy with tv and ensuite.

Stayed at the Riverside Cottage B&B on New Years Eve with my Boyfriend and two other couples. We booked all three rooms. Breda greeted us upon arrival and gave us the warmest of welcomes. The B&B was absolutely beautiful and was decorated and maintained to the highest of standards, It was perfect...everything from the massive Christmas Tree and candles in the reception area to the huge open fire awaiting us on what was a cold and miserable night to the polished marble floors and high ceilings and soft lighting...the place literally sparkles.
The rooms were fantastic and felt like a home away from home. We stayed in room 2 which had a lovely ensuite and walk in wardrobe and a really comfy bed. Riverside Cottage is conveniently located right in the heart of Doolin and a short walk over the bridge to the pubs and shops etc.
Breakfast was lovely and both Breda and her assistant couldn't do enough for us. She was very accomodating and even though breakfast finished at 9:30 she still rustled up a full-Irish breakfast for those of us who were late arrivals to the breakfast room that morning and much needed coffee refils lol.
Gorgeous little gem and will definetely be staying there again.
Our party of 5 reserved all three rooms. This home has polished marble floors and is spotless. The beds were the most comfortable of the 3 B&B's we stayed in while in Ireland.
Breda was very accommodating and would offer tea upon return from our outings. She takes orders for breakfast the night before, which I appreciate.
There is a large pub, Gus O'Connors, and a string of shops on the same street so you don't have to drive. We even walked back from Fitzpatrick's one night when half our party wanted to turn in early, thus taking our one car.
We hope to be able to return again to this lovely B&B.
