This is the most wonderful B & B in all of Ireland. Susan greeted us with a warm hello and a glass of wine. It only got better from there. Every morning we had a beautiful spread of breakfast choices on the buffet, in addition to most anything you would want for a hot breakfast choice. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Susan has thought of every amenity you could imagine from blow dryers and curling irons to flashlights and power adapters. The outdoor gardens are inviting with chairs and tables to enjoy the garden and surrounding views. Finally, ANY information, recommendations or reservations you need are supplied within minutes. This was a perfect five night home base to tour all around the Doolin area. Thanks Susan and Paul for everything!

We arrived at Daly's house after our long overnight flight from the US. We were warmly greeted by Susan who promptly showed us to our rooms and offered useful information for our stay. The rooms were very clean and suited our needs perfectly. The location is within walking distance of town and a short drive to the Cliffs. Breakfast was amazing. We didn't need to eat again until dinner. We highly recommend this charming B&B you won't be disappointed.

The hose as everyone has said is wonderful and goes out of her way to always be helpful. Her breakfasts were the best of the trip including when we were staying in much more expensive places.
The rooms on the other hand were the smallest of the trip and we felt very cramped in them. There was only room for one small chair so two people can not sit in the room. There is a small outdoor space to sit in but it was not very inviting to us. The inn was great due to the host and breakfast but it is certainly not luxurois

Great experience! Quiet, tranquil, friendly, comfortable, and beautiful. Susan is a great host. Got my 'dog fix' with George, her dog. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with many healthy choices. The B&B is a very short walk to the main street.Susan took care of my tour of the Cliffs as well as contacting my transportation to the Shannon Airport.

My two adult daughters and I were recently in Ireland, staying at a total of 4 different places. Daly's House was our hands-down favorite. This is due to numerous reasons, but it boils down to host, comfort, and convenience. Your host, Susan, will amaze you. I didn't think it was possible for someone to be as positive and helpful as she. Anyone who gets into running a B & B should be friendly and enjoy people, but Susan takes it to a whole new level. When she asks what she can do for you or how to make your stay better, she truly means it. From picking us up at the bus stop to making us mid-day tea, to offering everything but her firstborn, she was authentically there to please. The comfort of the place was also unparalleled. We stayed in the two upstairs rooms, and they were furnished beautifully, were spacious, and filled with little touches (need an extra adapter? Cookies? Water?) that were greatly appreciated. The breakfasts, as others have noted, were to die for, and filled us up for most of the day. Lastly, convenience. From Daly's House, we were close to everything we needed to be. We spent one day walking from the front door to the top of the Cliff's of Mohr. Another, just wandering through town. Another, walking the roughly 3 miles to the Doolin Cave. Every night, we walked down the hill and hung out at O'Connor's, one of three main local pubs that has traditional Irish music, great food, and pints for under 5 Euro each night. I cannot recommend Daly's House enough: thanks to Susan, we fell in love with Doolin and hope to return!

This was our second stay with Susan in Doolin. We brought an adult family of 7 this time around. My fiance and I will stay with Susan anytime we visit Ireland. She is warm, welcoming and the most fantastic host you will ever find. Upon arrival to Daly's House (which is tucked away off the main street in Doolin, making for a pleasantly quiet stay), Susan shows you to your room, which is quaint and comfortable. She then asks you to join her either in her living room or on her patio for your choice of Bailey's, a glass of wine or a beer. She'll chat with you for a bit to get to know you and to tell you all about her adorable town of Doolin. Then she'll let you on your way to rest, explore or head right to O'Connors pub for excellent food, a pint (or two) and the best traditional Irish music in Western Ireland. Susan even makes sure you're equipped with a flashlight so you can find your way back to her charming house after a fun night at the pub. In the morning, you will have a delicious, made-to-order breakfast, either in Susan's dining room or on her perfect sun porch. Throughout your stay, you'll also be the recipient of George's hospitality-Susan's adorable and very sweet dog! :) Don't stay anywhere else in Doolin. Daly's House is the only place you need! Thank you, Susan! We'll be back to see you soon!

Everything you have read on Tripadvisor is absolutely true. From the moment my son and I arrived, Susan treated us like family. A Bailey's for me and a beer for Chris--she knew exactly how weary travelers would appreciate a brief respite before unpacking. Billed as a luxury B&B: the bedding, the comfortable beds, the exquisitely decorated room (complete with flashlite for night walks and 3-pronged plug for your computer), a bathroom mirror that lit up with the swipe of the hand, the KitKat candy bars (that Chris devoured post haste), the shower (oh, the shower), the bathroom window opening on the flower-filled garden. Elsewhere is written about the breakfast so I won't repeat but I had to take some of Susan's homemade scones for the road--just made you wish you had four stomachs like a cow. Our first night was a bit rainy and misty so Chris was provided with a coffee laced wee bit of spirits for our 2-minute walk to O'Connors Pub. The next morning we both were provided with the same for our early morning trip to the Cliffs of Moher. We spent part of a sunny afternoon in the garden with Susan and more Bailey's and beer, chatting about everything under the sun and this will be one of the best memories I have of Ireland. We tried to take Susan back with us but she is committed to staying on and providing the best living experience one can have traveling in Ireland. Some people are born to be hosts. And then there are those who are born to be gatekeepers to a little bit of heaven.
