“Don't miss it”

Nothing I could say would do it justice, you just have to see it for yourself. Be prepared for all types of weather as it can change very quickly are you can be in exposed area some of the time

“Cooperative project”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2013

This is a project where the land is being opened up more to visitors as the land owners allow the locals to pass through the different fences so that tourists can really see the depth of the cliffs of mohr as a tourist site. Local guides are a must

“One of the most spectacular walks in Ireland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2013

Finding ourselves in Doolin recently with a few hours to spare, we decided to walk the newly-opened trail south along the shore to the Cliffs of Moher. Good decision!
Parking in Doolin can be hard to find but we started out early when it wasn't an issue. A short walk up the hill from the bridge brought us to the trail-head, and we followed the well-marked trail along the Atlantic coast.
It takes just over an hour at a reasonable pace to get to the highest point of the cliffs, above the visitor centre. Or it would, If you didn't stop every five minutes to take in yet another spectacular view, or take another stunning photograph. This has to be the walk with the best views almost anywhere, it is amazing and is definitely the best way to see the Cliffs of Moher.
The visitor centre is a handy stop for refreshments before heading back towards Doolin. The return trip is almost all downhill and much easier on the lungs, and the views are just as good from this angle.
All in all, a lovely way to spend a morning, especially if the day is clear and bright. Bring a camera, and don't do anything stupid -- some of the path is unguarded and runs close to the cliff edge. Be careful, and enjoy.

“The beauty that Mother Nature has is mind bobbling at times and on the perfect day it can be breath taking : )”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2013

All went well came from the Liscannor took a left on the bad bend were on the right is the Liscannor stone shop. We continued to past the soccer field . We came to an area where other tourists had parked responsible , May I add ( Not blocking ) any farmers gates and plenty of room for others to get by . After a beautiful walk and watched the Sun set into the sea we returned to our cars, to find our cars were blocked in by a farmer stating that this was his road?? L-51523..
We were stuck at an end road for up to an hour and a half having called the police stating its a private road and this is not the first time : ( they did nothing!!!!
I called the Clare County Council next day and they said it was a Police matter! For anyone visiting be VERY CAREFUL when parking on this road as your likely to be blocked in by a ANGRY FARMER!

“Outstanding project”

Even if you don't take this walk with Pat you will get to see some great views. This does require a lot of walking so bring a snack and water. It is worth the walk!
