My husband and I recently stayed at Kate's Place, and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area! Kate and Charles were so friendly and extremely helpful! On our last day, before flying out of Shannon, we unfortunately did not have time to stay for breakfast, but Kate and Charles packed up some breakfast and coffee to go. Way above and beyond our expectations and we can't wait to get back and plan another stay.

The location is absolutely perfect..and the town of Doolin itself was so quaint and charming. It was the perfect relaxing get away, but still plenty to keep you busy. I would highly recommend going out to the Arun Islands, as well as visiting the Cliffs of Moher if you're visiting the area, and hit up some of the local pubs for some good food, great drinks, and even better entertainment.

Had a lovely stay at Kate's place. We were only on Doolin once night and decided to stay here after the Cliffs of Moher. The location was a bit hard to find at first but it is really very close to the main strip of Doolin.

Kate and Charles (the owners) were gracious and attentive. The breakfast was superb with lots of options. My husband said the French toast was some of the bet he has ever had and my breakfast sausage was excellent. We had a room with an en suite bathroom. We spent very little time at the B and B because we were out and about but enjoyed all of it. Doolin is a cute little town and this B and B fits right in!

A lovely stay. Kate and Charles and their charming family were warm and welcoming. Roomy, clean, and bright room, comfortable bed. Yummy breakfasts each morning. The B & B is situated on a hill overlooking the tiny village of Doolin, a world renowned Irish traditional music center, and is a few minutes' walk to all venues.
It was a great place to rest up for a few days, with day trips to the nearby Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, beautiful offshore islands, and other beautiful sights to choose from. We highly recommend this place and the B & B's gracious hosts!

Kate and Charles are absolutely wonderful. We stayed with them for two days on our honeymoon, and they provided special extra touches such as European chocolate and a note. The rooms were spacious (the bathroom was especially large, which was fantastic), everything was very clean and well maintained, and breakfast was amazing. They also have two adorable children, and their B&B is very family friendly.

Doolin is a wonderful spot to experience traditional Ireland, including excellent live music and as a jumping off point to area attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. I would highly recommend visiting, and definitely recommend staying at Kate's Place B&B.

Kate's Place was the best place we stayed during our 12 day trip in Ireland. The breakfasts each morning were delicious, the rooms were very cozy, and the views out of the bedroom windows were gorgeous. In a great location, we were able to walk to the nearby pier, downtown and to the best pub we experienced during our trip. Kate's Place is a great place to stay when visiting The Aran Islands, the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. Kate and Charles know how to run a B&B and they do so with style, grace and Irish friendliness!

Room Tip: All 3 rooms are quaint and comfortable. Very, very clean with a nice touch of home.

We stayed at Kate's and had a perfect stay. They were very friendly and hospitable. Bed was perfect and breakfast was awesome. Very nice place to stay and go see the Cliffs. When leaving Kate's we felt like we made a friend. I would stay there in a heartbeat.

Kate and Charles Monod operate this delightful three rental room B&B in their own home. This young couple is most gracious and accommodating, and they greeted us warmly and enthusiastically every time we walked through their door during our four night stay. The included delicious breakfast was always artfully prepared, and the experience for my wife and I was more like spending quality time with Kate, Charles and their delightful children as friends rather than as transient travelers. Theirs was our introduction to the genuine warmth and hospitality we encountered in numerous places during our time in Ireland.

The B&B is located a short five minute walk from Doolin Center. We found that very convenient since our stay was perhaps longer than most since we were in Doolin for a family wedding. The rustic siting of this B&B is very picturesque, looking down and across a small valley near the north limit of the Cliffs of Moher.

Our time spent in Doolin under Kate and Charles' hospitality will long linger as one of the high points of our time in Ireland.
