This was the first B&B we stayed in on our recent trip to Ireland. Margaret welcomed us with open arms and true Irish charm. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the Dubs play Kerry in the finals of the Gaelic Football match on the sitting room TV. There is a very nice restaurant across the street where we had a nice dinner. Our only regret is that we were not within walking distance of the pubs in Doolin. Otherwise, the B&B is nicely situated between the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren area.

My family really enjoyed our stay here in August 2011. Margaret Carey was a great hostess and a joy to get to know. Her B&B's location is wonderful for people wanting to see the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and Doolin. We felt right at home the two nights we stayed here. Our room was very nice, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was terrific and the afternoon tea and muffins were delicious! If you're looking for a B&B in Doolin, look no further.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night last week on our fourth night in Ireland. Margaret, the host, was incredible! Upon arrival I felt right at home. She had fresh scones in the morning, and hot food on our plates. The home itself was clean and welcoming. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, i slept like a baby.
It's an ideal location, out in the countryside, but very close to all the area attractions. Just a few minutes from the Cliffs of Moher and just up the hill from Doolin, the cutest fishing village. We walked out to the pier (where the ferry's leave from) and watched the sun set and tide come in. You can also see the Cliffs from there, just another perfect evening. We spent alot of time in the morning talking to Margaret, her stories are great, and the history behind the farm is wonderful to share.
All in all, i would HIGHLY recommend Emohruo to stay at. You won't be disappointed!

My sister and I really enjoyed our visit to Emohruo Farm house. Margaret gave us a warm welcome along with some coffee and cookies. The second day there was my birthday so
she bought us two glasses of Irish cream to celebrate. The beds were comfortable and
we loved the dog, Shannon, and the horse Sprite. I would highly recommend this B&B

Emohruo is located on the beatiful road going from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher (a few minutes drive from the center of Doolin). The place is beautiful (we could see the ocean from our window) and very quiet.
Our room was nice, large and perfectly clean (same for the bathroom). The bed was particularly comfortable : I slept like a baby!
Breakfast was very good too : we've loved the fresh scones cooked a few hours earlier.
But what really made the difference was Margaret's warm welcome. Emohruo is not a small hotel like most other B&Bs seem to be now. Margaret opens her door house and then really makes you feel at home. In an other review somebody said "it's like visiting an aunt you haven't seen for a while". It's exactly what we thought! She takes the time to talk to you and shares pieces of her life. She lives here since 1977 so she can provide you with useful advices.
As a conclusion I would say that we have found here a really charming person we would like to see again.
Maragaret, you are our favorite and we rate you number 1!
Best regards from D. & M. Laval
...and please give a hug to the dog!
