My husband and I absolutely loved staying with Margaret. Our room was spotless! She was kind and informative about the area. We will most defiantly stay with her again. Very close to Doolin, the ferry to The Aran Islands and down the road from the Cliffs of Moher. Thanks, Margaret! The Middlesworth Family

We stayed two lovely nights at Emohruo B&B with Margaret Carey. I've been to Ireland three times and this was the best B&B I've ever experienced. She was a fantastic host, providing us with a tasty breakfast, unsurpassed accommodations, great conversation, excellent tips, and solid local connections. Don't be deceived by the simple farmhouse exterior. Emohruo B&B has been tastefully updated with modern flair. Our spacious bedroom included built-in closets, drawers, a counter top, huge windows with proper shades and large showers with excellent water pressure. Margaret also serves a fresh, delicious breakfast every morning and includes a wide selection. Don't miss her amazing scones and brown bread, the best I've eaten! Each day after our travels, she greeted us with tea and good conversation, making us feel perfectly at home. We hope to return soon!

After a long drive and having gotten lost, (our fault) Margaret was able to guide us to her wonderful B and B. We got there around midnight but Margaret wasnt phased at all and greeted us with a cup of tea. Our two boys got their own rooms and were very excited. The big surprise came in the morning when we saw how unbelievably beautiful their location was! I was up early but not as early as Mr. Carey, as he was tending the animals but stopped by and had a chat with me for awhile. Great guy! Breakfast was phenomenal! Next time in Ireland I think we will stay more than a day as the Emohru B and B was one of my favorite places to stay.

Thanks again to Mr. and Mrs. Carey for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Emohruo was fantastic. Margaret was extremely kind and helpful and made a superb breakfast! Her huge pancakes are delicious and the brown bread was the best we had on our trip. The bed in our room was heavenly--like sleeping on a cloud--and the room was very large with big windows. Margaret was very helpful pointing us to traditional music at pubs in town and mapping out a good route for us to take to see all the sites in the county! We highly recommend this B&B. If we get back to the area we definitely would stay again!

By far our biggest mistake was not spending more time with Margaret. This was the best B&B of the 8 we visited during our 11 day stay in Ireland. We adopted Margaret and are planning our next visit.....more time at the Emohruo B&B. Her genuine hospitality and knowledge of the local area are inimitable. Of course she knew the next B&B we would visit in Clifden. As far as we are concerned, she is THE expert on all things Ireland. We miss you Margaret!!!
