Mrs. Carey was extremely accommodating. Emohruo was our second B&B on our trip and was so helpful with making our limited time as impactful as possible. She pointed us in the right direction for authentic Irish cuisine and folk music. She was such a delight and made us feel like a part of her family.

I've been to Doolin four times now and have really enjoyed all B&Bs that we've stayed at. Of those places I have to say that Emohruo B&B is hands down the best. Margaret is very sweet, goes out of her way to be helpful and truly made our stay great. The day started off right with a really good made to order breakfast. Our room was extremely clean, modern and nice sized. The shower also had amazing water pressure.

The place is only a short drive (5 minutes) away from Doolin on the road to the Cliffs of Mohr but keep that in mind if you're looking to drink heavily at the pubs and then plan to walk to your lodging. That said, we found the accommodations and view of the ocean from high up on the hill well worth the short trip. Great place, highly recommend!!!

We'd travelled the Ring of Kerry and done the Cliffs of Moher before we stopped off at this little gem looking for a nights accommodation. We met Margaret who provided us two rooms as a family room is uncommon in most B & Bs. Our two youngsters were introducing themselves to Sprite the horse on one side and another white horse on the other side before we had moved our bags.

Local knowledge of the area provided us with a good eat spot for the evening meal and good attractions to look for the next day. A few minutes from Doolin and local eat spots or the tilecutters restaurant right across the road, this one had most things going for it.

Very clean tidy rooms and fantastic bedding accompanied by a quiet location were fantastic for a good nights sleep and the breakfast provided was fantastic and cooked freshly rather than being done as one batch and reheated.the scones previously mentioned were absolutely heaven, but with so much more on offer for breakfast, another one would have burst the seams.

Pleasant company and a great local knowledge of the area was a gold mine for people so far from home.

Well done and thank you Margaret and your lovely Golden Retriever Shannon, if we lived closer, it would certainly be a spot frequently used.

Room Tip: Didn't have any negatives on our stay, very good and value for money

Margaret was a fantastic host and a wealth of knowledge. She directed us to some great food and outstanding traditional Irish music. She shared a lot of knowledge regarding the local culture and history. Her breakfasts were top notch and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Her scones were the best we had anywhere in Ireland. Fresh made every morning! I highly recommend staying at Emohruo if you find yourself traveling to the Doolin/Cliffs of Moher area.

Margaret was the friendliest, most thoughtful host a person could hope for. The room was beautiful, the food was excellent, her knowledge of the area bountiful. The home made scones were the best in all of Ireland !!!! If you are ever in the area we highly recommend staying at this B&B. The entire experience was awesome. Beautiful views and gardens. Margaret has the best advise on what to see and visit in the Cliffs area. Doolin was a delight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B to anyone planning on visiting the Cliifs, the Aran Islands and/or the Burren. Johanna and Bob, Huntington,MA USA.

Margaret was a wonderful host. She knew exactly what we needed when we first showed up at her place after a long travel day. She had our room ready early and we were able to take a quick nap.
When we awoke she had a pot of tea ready and she sat and talked with us for a while, giving us the lay of the land. We used her suggestions to have a good meal and some live music at O'Conner's Pub our first night.
In the morning Margaret had a great breakfast menu that you could choose from and she whipped it up in no time. She also had cereal if you did not want a cooked breakfast.
You can tell Margaret takes pride in what she does. She goes the extra effort to make sure you are comfortable, but does not smother you with attention.
We had a lovely time our second night just talking with her in the sitting room, while the rain came down outside.
We used the b n b's central location to view the Cliffs of Mohrer, drive the Burren area and take a boat trip to Innisheer in the two nights we stayed there.
