My husband and I stayed here for two nights in May. It's one of the best camping sites we have stayed. The area is very well maintained and the facilities are super clean! Lovely friendly staff. The site shop is fabulous and very well stocked. The only small thing I think they could improve on would be to have hand dryers in the toilets. Apart from that it was faultless. We will be back again in the near future.

Possibly the most breathtaking place I've camped. Perfect location, loved it. Clean, tidy, toilet block looked brand new - not quite sure why it had old rusty hand driers in that didn't work. You have to pay 1€ for the shower but that's fine when it's clean and warm.
Watching the sunset by the water was magical, like being in another world. Never seen so many stars, defiantly take a peep out if you wake up in the night.
Walking distance to the village, really quaint, and amazing pubs.

A great site well laid out, clean & tidy. Lawn areas were mowed and surprise loose grass picked up so no grass in van. Fully serviced site but watch for where drains are as my outfalls are on the side of my van and drains were at rear of pitch so had to use wastehog. Access through Doolin is a little fraught as people park anywhere and everywhere especially on the tight bend going up to site. Pier to Aran islands only 200 yds from site. Would have been nice to see more of staff but as not yet in main season office is only manned when you call them from big house just 100yds away. Showers are PAYG (1 euro by token) purchased at unmanned office so a bit of forward planning needed there. Cliffs of Mohan are visible from site and 20 min drive takes you to the visitor centre (4 euro for OAP) Then the Burran for your walking and historical bit all reasonable driving distance. A longer day trip try loop head on a clear day you can see down to the Dingle Peninsula, nice watering hole in quaint harbour pub 5 klm on way
back. Well worth the stop over

We spent two nights at Nagle's, Ken, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Waking up to the sound of the Atlantic ocean breaking waves only eighty yards away was a unique experience. The site is spacious, no feeling of being crammed in, it has all the facilities expected of a caravan and camping site and they are top notch. Boat trips to the Aran isles are close by, a twenty walk gets you to the nearby village. A most enjoyable two nights.

Nagel's is an excellent campsite. We stayed here for the first time three weeks ago and returned the following weekend. It is about 100m from Doolin Pier which suited us as we took the ferry across to Inis Oir.

The site is spotless and very well maintained. The kids loved the modern playground and new games room.

It was great to wake up to the sound of the sea and views of the Cliffs. It was about a 10 minute walk to the nearest pub which has great food, friendly staff and lively atmosphere.

We stayed in a caravan but often use a tent. There were great pitches for both with sheltered pitches available. Plenty of toilets, showers, kitchen facilities all of which were spotless. The owners were excellent and available to assist us with any query we had (including returning a lost phone). Well done to them on a top class site.

Stayed there last year and the year before. The site gets better every year with the owners adding more features to their impeccably clean site. Excellent kiddies play park with safety first in mind. Fantastic kids play room with a pool table, table soccer and air hockey. Music and a projector screen for movies. Cooking facilities are plentiful too. The showers and toilets are a pleasure to use. Spotless cleanliness all round the entire site, it's a credit to it's owners who are very friendly and most welcoming. We will be returning again next year and many more to follow!! We stayed in their new "PODS" which for is was a first experience. One, that we will repeat!! Lovey little wooden cabin type pods, kitted out with a kettle, fridge and all comforts of home captured in a little log cabin. A must try!!

Good location near the pier in Doolin - well laid out site catering for tents (and you can have electricity) camper vans and caravans. Kitchen facilities and good clean shower block.

Camped for 2 nights with grandson - will be back ! Recommended.
