“Great Location & Spacious Rooms”
Reviewed 16 April 2011

O'Connors guesthouse was a lovely B&B. Within walking distance to Doolin's Pubs. Spacious, clean rooms. Breakfast was good in the morning. Definitely would recommend to others.

The farm house was peaceful, simple and clean. The triple room was roomy for all of us. The shower had hot water even with me being the 3rd shower for the morning. The breakfast was delicious. The B&B is centrally located in Doolin and a short walk to the pubs and the shops.

Joan was very helpful answering all of our questions and was interested on how we were enjoying our stay. The first day she did seem like she was in a hurry, but the second day she took the time to get to know us and share great information about Ireland.

The location was great but the service was quite poor. The hostess seemed hurried to get us to our room and head back to whatever she was doing previously. She did let us know about a couple of restaurants when we asked.

We did not have hot water one morning. Also the laundry facilities that were listed as "available" in the reservation were "un"available during our visit. We were told to go up the street.

Room itself and the breakfasts were just fine. In the end she did not ask about our stay, just took our payment. Since it was off-season, I believe there were other priorities than guests when we were there.

Recently spent 1 night at O'connors guesthouse in Doolin-had a wonderful stay in twin/triple room with my teenage son.Facilities were excellent, great hot shower and very comfortable accommodation.Amazing views and ambience.I inadvertently left camera charger in room and Joan so kindly forwarded it on to me at the hotel I was staying in in London prior to my return to Australia. I would definitely stay here when visiting Ireland again and highly recommend to others travelling through Doolin area.

I recently stayed at the O'Connors Farmhouse while in Doolin and it was top notch. We was stayed two separate nights as we traveled to the Aran Islands for a few days. We had different rooms both times but both were perfect for two travelers. Be sure to stop in Fitzpatrick's Pub across the street during your stay. A big thank you to everyone at the O'Connors Farmhouse for a memorable visit!

Having just returned from an 11 day touring trip to Ireland I can honestly say that O'Connors Farmhouse is THE ONLY place to stay in Doolin if you want a comfortable night's sleep followed by a superb breakfast the following morning! The rooms are very spacious and modern with magnificent views and huge bathrooms with all mod-cons and the overall cleanliness was second to none. Joan, the innkeeper, is a lovely friendly lady for whom nothing is too much trouble and the food for breakfast was both plentiful and very varied with something to suit everyone (even a veggie like me). We had one of the best night's sleep of the entire tour here, it is so peaceful and quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable. The farmhouse is quite central in Doolin and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs and the many walks in this very scenic area. The choice of B&B's here is quite extensive but if you want to stay somewhere which offers great value for money with a warm welcome then this is the place, trust me, you will not be disappointed!
