pat and rita were wonderful. we arrived without a booking. they had us checked in and on our way to gus o'connors pub in just a moment. the room was immaculately clean, well-appointed and one of the windows had a view of the cliffs of moher. the other looked onto a field and occasionally into the eye of a nearby cow! breakfast and the quaint airy breakfast room was wonderful, the best coffee of the trip!

Of our two weeks in Ireland, our time at Pairc Lodge with Rita & Pat was a highlight. They have the perfect spot in Doolin with beautiful views and beautiful rooms. Breakfast was lovely, and their company was wonderful. Rita helped us phone a kayaking company to schedule an outing and gave us great recommendations on local food and sights to visit. When we talked with people in town in the shops they would often ask where we were staying, and when we told them Pairc Lodge, they all had nothing but wonderful things to say about Rita and her family. We will never visit Ireland again without staying at Pairc Lodge!

I arrived in Doolin last Wednesday and checked into a B&B that I had booked a few weeks back. Unfortunately, due to a booking error, she didn't have a room for me, and so she brought me over to the Pairc Lodge for the night. What a fortunate mistake! This B&B is EXCELLENT- Rita is so welcoming and friendly, the rooms were bright and immaculate, and you are literally 5 doors down from the world famous Gus O'Connors pub. The Doolin harbor and ferries to the Aran Islands are actually a five minute walk in the other direction, and you can see the Cliffs from there. I liked this spot so much that I came back a few nights later. Wonderful spot, and the only plae ill ever stay if I ever come back to Doolin :)

My friends and I stayed at the Pairc Lodge and couldn't believe our luck in choosing this great little B&B. It is spotlessly clean and bright, the rooms are great, and the location is the best. You're in walking distance to the Pubs (Gus O'Connors is right down the lane) and in view of the beautiful Cliffs of Moher.

Rita is lovely and welcoming, and her morning breakfast is great. If you're looking for a place to stay in Doolin - this is it.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front of the house have a beautiful view of the Cliffs of Moher

Nice size room, very modern/new, clean, and quiet. Very happy with our choice and the price was quite good. We didn't have a reservation, when we made a decision to spend the night in Doolin, and just dropped in at this place. Owner was quite accomodating.

We spent our first two nights here. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and provided a fantastic view. Breakfast was delicious and the dining area was cozy with a window view of the pretty garden area. The house was exceptionally clean and well kept. Rita was warm, welcoming, and very kind. She keeps her home to the highest standards.

It took a few minutes to figure out the hot water scheme and the pressure was a little low but enough to wash my very long hair....just not in a hurry :) Of course, you shouldn't be in a hurry in Ireland anyway! I would highly recommend Pairc Lodge B&B.

We moved between B&Bs in Doolin, and this was by far the worst. Rita simply wasn't nice and gave us a very bad vibe throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean, however the shower was awful - we had to wait for 20 minutes (!!!) for hot water to arrive, with practically no water pressure (took me forever to wash my hair). When we gently said a word to Rita in the morning (after paying and thanking her) she said that we must have used it wrong (come on...). Furthermore, that was the only B&B we stayed at in ireland with nowhere to prepare tea. Overall, we left with a bad feeling. We recommend staying somewhere else - there are so many lovely B&Bs in Doolin who will be glad to to have you and even welcome you with a smile.
