After a first stay in 2010 I nowadays only can reaffirm my first evaluation: Pairc lodge is a jewel, as well as Rita, who runs the B&B. No matter, whether you prefixed your stay or just drop in, you're heartily welcome and cared for, not only by Rita, but also by Pat, her husband.
The double rooms are plain, but bright and comfortably furnished. Everything is working well.
Usually you are served a full Irish Breakfast, including bacon, sausages, eggs, Irish pudding, jams, porridge, etc. But if you ask for other food, Rita will help you.
Whether you come home from a walk to the flat stony Doolin coast from where you can admire the spurs of the Cliffs of Moher or the silhouette of the Aran Islands, from an excursion to the burren, from a round from the pitch and put just in front of the house (overlooking the seaside), or if you just enjoyed a guinness and Irish folkmusic life at O'Connors around the corner, you'll feel lovely, sitting at the fireside in the lounge.
