We hired the entire inn as a location for a post cremation gathering for about 100 people. Not overstating it to say it was a total triumph. The location is stunning, the staff very attentive, food was delightful and the availability of spaces to gather was fantastic. Even the booking process and consultations before hand were easy and the staff took care to make sure everything was just right. I can only give them five stars but would put a cherry on the top if I could. They were outstanding and couldn’t have looked after us any better. I wish them all the best and my gratitude for all they did.

My husband and I dropped in one Sunday thinking about lunch. We initially sat outside and enquired about food; a carvery was available but we had to eat that inside, fortunately they were able to accommodate both us and the two dogs with us. The carvery was delicious and having the chance to serve our own sides was a bonus. In addition, the team were so very helpful and friendly, we felt welcomed and treated exceptionally well. Couldn't recommend enough

Beautiful pub in amazing surroundings. Lovely friendly staff and a wide variety of food including gluten free options at reasonable prices. Very dog friendly, water bowls provided. Nice garden overlooking canal and large conservatory with lots of tables and view over canal for days when weather is not so good. Amazing Sunday carvery too.

Food took forever to arrive. It was definitely not worth the wait. The staff were helpful after observing the fact that we had waited over an hour

Very limited menu! Over priced food, very basic and overcooked. Food arrived and had items missing that was listing in the menu description. Had a ploughman's platter for 2 - no butter for the bread, missing chutney, stale baguettes and not enough for two! My daughter had scampi and chips, the chips were so hard, they were more like pork scratching!!!! With enough mushy peas to bearly fill a tablespoon! And the burger was the most driest and uninspiring thing I've ever seen. Very disappointed. Beautiful location, nice staff, just wouldn't eat there again.
