They have room, great! We really look forward to our visits to Northam because Sundene is a lovely place to stay with all the space and comforts you would want and a chat with Harry and Louise over that wonderful breakfast to catch up and put the world to rights is a great start to the day.

We had a wonderful weekend at Sundene House, Louise and Harry are really friendly, accommodating and helpful. They gave us and our dog a warm welcome, suggested places for us to visit and were very flexible about our check out time. Highly recommended, one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at.

Tried to find somewhere in Bideford for new year but all were full. Looked a bit further afield and found Sundene - and they had a room! How glad was I that all the others were full... This b&b is probably the best I've ever stayed in, and Louise and Harry are the most perfect hosts. Honestly, it's a mile walk into town but quite frankly that's in it's favour too. Northam itself is ok too with a friendly pub and posh restaurant, plus a co-op. All within walking distance. Westward Ho! is also walkable.
Stay at Sundene you won't be disappointed. If I come back to this part of the world I won't bother looking for anywhere else.
Did I mention the superb breakfast?

This was our first night away from our children in 3 years and what a wonderful stay we had. The room was a perfect size and had its own sitting room which had a tv, fridge and Tea and coffee. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and we will most definitely be staying again.

Just a quick review, but we had a great short stay here.
Very warm and cosy accommodation.
Only negative I can think of is the sign for the place was a little hard to spot in the dark (its a trivial thing).

I have unfortunately now lost count of how many times we have stayed here but it must be five or six times. We love the arrangement of the rooms at Sundene which give you a bedroom and a small sitting room with fridge, microwave and T&Coffee. In addition there is the guest breakfast and sitting room which is also a lovely feature of this elegant house.

On our previous visit we came with our daughters (21 and 19) and the arrangement was perfect as they were in the suite upstairs and we had the one downstairs. My older daughter then stayed and did revision for her finals in the guest sitting room while we walked off some calories on the coastal path. This time it was just the two of us.

Harry and Louise have been great hosts from the start which is probably why we keep coming back. We really enjoy catching up with them and to be honest I don't know what we would do if they were already booked when we next came to Northam. We would probably change our dates!

The location is good too on a very quiet and attractive road that is also easy to get to from the A39 and finally I always try and leave room for a cooked breakfast here as this is another reason I like to stay with Harry and Louise.

Again staying away on business, was greeted with a warm welcome, room had a comfortable bed and a seperate room with seating, t.v and table to work on. Very clean, and gave great advice on where to eat locally. Will definately come back here again, maybe even with my family of four as there were enough beds to plot up for evening if travelling around Cornwall/Devon for hols.

Room Tip: Two rooms available, i think they are identical
