Ngā Mānu is one of my favourite places on the Kāpiti Coast. It is home to a perfect little slice of native New Zealand bush - which is easily accessible by walking tracks and board walks.
It is also a great place to view and learn about native NZ wildlife, particularly the birdlife: there is even a Kiwi House to enable folk to view the ever elusive Kiwi.
A highlight of a trip to Ngā Mānu? Feeding and learning about the Eels!
This is a great day out, pack a picnic and enjoy this wonderful little reserve.
