First visit to north Wales for our family and two dogs, but this certainly won't be our last. We booked a four berth caravan a couple of weeks prior to our stay, but weren't too sure what we would get based on previous experiences (with dogs) with other caravan parks.

Well, my reservations were ill founded after we arrived at the park - absolutely picturesque location, and fantastic accommodation - very clean and perfectly located.

We had breakfast one morning, which was absolutely delicious.

We booked for the Sunday carvery, which was ok - tasty but a little dry and Luke warm - to be honest, I don't think I've ever had a decent carvery, so I couldn't mark this place down.

If I had one constructive comment to make, it would be regarding basic restaurant practice - keep the tables clean (sticky table surfaces), and keep the service going once seated (had to ask for more drinks, bill etc).

Only minor points to what is a beautiful place - I will definitely return.

We have a caravan on the park so we are regulars at the restaurant. The simple reason for that is that it is very good. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and most importantly the chef is inventive in providing good traditional food and some unusual combinations. The food is always well presented.

We have a holiday home on the park, and although there are loads of other places to have a drink and food in the area, we always make a point of visiting when we're there, even just for a drink. Always friendly service, lovely decor and food is good value. The terrace area has a fantastic view as well!
