I like to go to the Huntsman for the live music.

The bar is traditional with a contemporary twist. Everything is clean and fresh and the service is always excellent.

I haven't eaten here yet, but they have an enticing range of nibbles behind the bar that are a bit hard to resist!

The bear garden is beautiful and i would recommend anyone to visit.

Stopped by for a dinner on our way down the A30, the food was delicious, I had a slow cooked lamb shank and the meat fell off the bone. I found I was pleasantly full but not stuffed so to me a slightly smaller portion was brilliant. For 2 main, 1 dessert and drinks we paid £43 which we felt was reasonable value for good quality local food. All suppliers were listed so you knew where the food had come from.

Dropped by and just managed to get in - very busy, always a good sign!

Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was of a good standard with local produce. There was a wait, but well worth it and we were told there would be a delay.

There was one minor glitch, hence a four rather than a five rating, but would certainly be glad to visit again.

Lunch here today with two locals. Always good to use somewhere locals use.

Just had sandwiches, they had a good selection of unusual but really tasty ones and came with great chips.

Visited on a Monday - very quiet to say the least !! My partner's lamb shanks were excellent but my pork was dry and probably re heated. Vegetables were bland and cool. Service was attentive. The toilets were old and grubby. This place had been recommended but we were disappointed. Will not revisit.
