We arrived at LaTreille at 22:00 and were shown to our rooms, after which the gate was closed and the owners were off to bed. They were busy the next day, so possibly you might be able to stay up in the main house on other occasions. One room was damp and not so welcoming, the other was very good and more spacious (La Hortense.) Sleep was o.k. but the sheets felt slightly damp in our room - it was a very wet and cold day for July. In room electric heaters worked well. The breakfast, taken in the main house dining room was simple but very good with home made yoghourt and home grown fruit. The labrador dog was a bonus for us, but he is not around all the time if you do not like dogs. Lovely garden at the back of the house. At 100 euros for two double rooms this is good value and a quiet bolthole if flying in or out of Beauvais.( And why would you be doing this if you live in the U.K.? Simple, the prices are like old fashioned Ryanair and you get to fill up the car with wine at Calais.) If you have larger groups and are three to a room it works out cheaper. Not very much in the village itself but quiet roads around about.
