Wish I'd read trip advisor first ......yes the toilets are terrible. Disgraceful in this day and age. We've used many far more basic camping sites around France And Germany and really aren't fussy, but these are dreadful. No hot water, toilets broken, not cistern lids, blocked, full bins which are full for days. Dish washing facilities very poor...only one hot tap, all sinks are cold and dirty. No basic draining boards or anything. Showers cold, broken and dirty. Shower head flew off middle of shower! Lights on a short timer so you get plunged into darkness half way through shower and can't do anything about it.
The campsite is very difficult to find....yes sat hav takes you to a rear entrance which is blocked, but finding front entrance is hopeless. No signs or maps or helpfulness. Then track on is so full of really deep potholes you have to be careful or you'll damage car. Pitches for tents are all really bumpy, sloping, full of big tree roots etc......found. It really difficult to find a half-decent few square metres for tent.
On plus side.....pools are good for kids, as is play area.
Why they want to spend so much having lovely pools but then such bad washing and toilet facilities.
If you try to complain they just smile and say they will phone their colleague.
Really waste of money as website makes you expect something really special.

Very uneven ground full of roots etc so no good for tents. Everything was dirty, blocked toilets, broken pipes, out of the 10 sinks only 1 had hot water, worst showers we've had ever on a campsite, the indoor pool is actually an outdoor pool with a conservatory built around it, which was open, the washing machine was broken, but even when it's not, it's not available for non residents, all the kids things, the bar, shop and snack bar were closed, the electric tripped and the site is full of foreign labour workers.
The only good thing about this campsite is the location for the railway station to Paris and it's a 20 minute drive to Disneyland and the way out!

Stayed in one of teh chalets which was tucked around the back, nothing like the pictures of them gracefully fronting the green. The chalet looked good in pictures but turned out to be a small caravan covered with wood. The inside was basic, cheap and cramped, a bare light socket in one of teh rooms - our home toilet was bigger than the second bedroom. It was amongst the trees and when it rained at night the trees dripped water onto the plastic roof - it sounded like bags of nails being dropped and kept us awake. Unfortunately it was quiet when we went so the place looked bare, swimming pools were ok but nothing else to talk about. The big green looked good and I guess when its full of people it looks better. Can walk to the station for Paris in about 10 mins thru a side access but beware - its through a dark, unlit wood relying on access through a coded gate - coming back at midnight hadn't thought of this and my family flatly refused to enter - ended up walking 2km down the side of a dual carriageway to the main gate, dangerous but also safer. The main gate code (although checked twice) wouldn't work for us on several occasions - luckily someone pulled up behind each time and we got in, chancy late at night. Other people have noted the deposit - be careful as they're casual taking it off you but pointed about checking you out at the end.

Stayed in one of the treehouses which look fantastic from the outisde but are totally impractical on the inside. Had to crawl through 3ft hatch to get to bedrooms which you couldn't stand up in. Also having to pass food from kitchen on the lower floor up a ridiculously steep flight of steps to the eating area was a real pain. Steps v dangerous for small children. Whoever designed this place wasn't thinking properly. Save your money and stay in one of the chalets as the site itself is a great base for Disney which is under 30 mins drive away. Central playhouse a magnet for the kids and the waterslides an added bonus in warm weather.

Stayed in a hut for a week hardly any English here.small hut but very dirty inside. Curtains , blinds, and a drawer not been cleaned in ages. Watch out for a tick list that reception (one girl has no English the other a tiny bit) didn't tell us about. Quite a bit off the tick list was missing so as reception is only open a few hours a day we had to go searching for a rep who didn't know what my list of missing items meant. Next day a list of items arrived some we already had and still others we still required never showed up. Watch out for a 290 euro deposit they require when you arrive. Make sure you type in your access code in even if barrier is up. We made mistake of not entering code when barrier was up only to find it wouldn't work at midnight after returning from disney so had to walk through a dark forest half a mile way to our hut in pitch darkness in a forest not ideal. Run is full of pot holes too so drive slowly. My child was cut and strangled by a couple of kids so don't leave your kids unattended at the faulty bouncy castle with live mains behind it and has a puncture. The two pools are unmanned so again make sure you stay with your kids. One pool had stones at bottom of it and a child cried out after cutting himself. Make sure you clean your hut before you go or they will charge you a cleaning fee from your deposit again they never told us in full about this nor how much the fee was. It's a basic site and 25 mins drive from disney but the roads are not the best very dark in places and tight so drive careful. Gas electric is free but site can get boggy when it rains. Noisy a bit from it been main route for planes to Paris. Small playhouse slide for kids and a basketball court but not much else. A shop and a bar. McDonald's only two miles away. We won't be coming here again I'm afraid and we had a towel pinched from outside our hut. Don't expect much from site very average and needs improvements to roads and general cleanliness to huts is required.

There are pros and cons with Fredland. First of all it can be very difficult to find it and signage is terrible, so be aware. It's position for Paris is very good and handy for the RER railway which you can walk to in 10 minutes. It is in a nice location and relaxing. Our kids loved it and the play areas are really fun. There are two pools, the indoor pool is small but usable. Our kids loved the waterslide. We hired a safari tent ready-erected which was nice, BUT... the biggest negative for me was the toilet block - in a word - primative. I will be polite and say no more. So my advice is that if you stay here, unless it is touring briefly then hire accomodation with a bathroom and kitchenette of which there is a very good choice. They also have a weird booking out system where they insist you book a slot to be checked out, you are in their hands, but when it comes to it it's pretty pointless and could be annoying for some (if you hire accomodation). The bar/shop area is ok and has free wifi which is useful.

Lovely site but very difficult to find.. Our sat nav deposited us to the rear of the camp..where the footpath is. Perfect for eurodisney, which was our primary objective. We rented 2 mobile homes for the week. Both were new, modern and well equipt. Very few British tourists here which suited us fine. Lovely warm pools, great water slide for the kiddies! We would definitely visit again.. A very successful family holiday.
