We haven't been to the Inn on the Shore for a while but fancied a treat on a gorgeous Sunday.
Couldn't believe the change in the place. The menu was basic and had just sandwiches and burgers. The carvery was extremely poor a greasy road cafe would do better. The Tribute was clearly 'not right' and the wine was unpleasant.
Outside the children's area whilst now safely cordoned off had glasses steen around partially hidden in the overgrown grass along with plastic bottles.
Extremely sad to see such a lovely place turn into this.
Needless to say we won't be back.
