White Hall Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 2 Glangrwyney B&B and Inns
Reviewed 12 January 2013

I stayed at White Hall on New Year's eve. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts Sue and Glyn were very welcoming, friendly and obliging in every way. Breakfast was at a time to suit, given the late night, and was plentiful. Despite not eating meat, I was given exaclty what I asked for. There was a choice of homemade preserves - including lemon curd - which brought back childhood memories - thanks Sue; the jar I bought is nearly fininshed.

I would thoroughly recommend this B&B and wouldn't hesitate on returning there in the future. Good luck Sue and Glyn in the future.

Anne

We stayed here at New Year 2012, and I can recommend this to anyone looking for high quality affordable accommodation. The rooms are beautiful with spacious on-suite bathrooms. The breakfast was great, and the home-made Welsh cakes superb. But what really made our stay enjoyable was the lovely hosts Sue and Glyn, so friendly and kind.

We wish you all the best for the future and hope your business is a success.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are excellent, but there is one with a bath and twin beds if you prefer

Warm, welcoming and simply wonderful! We were very impressed with everything, such care and attention went into making our stay just perfect! Special little touches made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was fab! Hosts Sue and Glyn were very attentive, we all actually had quite a laugh and look forward to booking with them same time next year.

Room Tip: All rooms are individual, it's really a unique place!

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and I've never felt compelled to write a review on here, until now.

The White Hall is exactly what a B&B should be, it should be that you are being welcomed into a home by the owners. They have that down to an art form in The White Hall. We stayed recently for a wedding and when we booked and explained we were coming to town for a wedding, without prompting we were invited to come by early to get ready. They helped out with an ironing board, local details and just made to feel very welcome.

Should I have a reason to head back to South Wales I will certainly be staying here. I can recommend it without reservation.

Upon arriving at White Hall, I was thrilled at my partner’s choice for a weekend getaway to the Brecon Beacons! White Hall has very charming, yet cosy surroundings and we were made to feel very welcome by two friendly faces, Glyn and Sue. Our room was lovely and comfortable and featured a great sized en-suite. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable and included a selection of cereal and fresh fruit with the option to indulge in a delicious cooked breakfast. Our main purpose for visiting the area was to enjoy long, scenic walks throughout the day and to treat ourselves to fantastic cuisine in the evenings. Glyn and Sue were able to recommend some amazing hiking trails and also provided us with some superb restaurant recommendations during our stay. If you’re planning a trip to the Brecon Beacons, be sure to book a room at White Hall!
