What can I say/ What a lovely place! I love this style of architecture! i love traditional and it was so nice to not feel stifled in a box. My room was spacious, bed was soo comfy and the bathroom and shower were lovely. So wish I had been here on pleasure rather than fleeting business visit. I felt very comfortable and was able to sit comfortably in the lounge area with my colleague to do some work. Breakfast was delicious - black pudding and poached egg :0 yum! Delicious homemade marmalade and conserves and home made welsh cakes - first time for me. Hosts were lovely and friendly. Couldn't recommend enough!

We stayed here over the Abergavenny Food Festival weekend and although we know the area well and had visited the pub right across the road a couple of times, had never noticed White Hall. Glyn and Sue are superb hosts, the house is comfortable, immaculate and beautifully decorated and our room - a large double - was great with tea and coffee making facilities and home made biscuits. The breakfasts are worth the visit on their own - great choices for vegetarians as well as the excellent full Welsh breakfast - with home-made Welsh Cakes making a welcome appearance at the end! Local soaps and hand-made cards are available to buy, and although we didn't need a packed lunch, those are available at very reasonable cost too. Next time we visit, we'll find an excuse to order one.

All in all, one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. We'll definitely return and check out some of the excellent local pubs that they suggested.

It makes all our hard work in setting up and running our Bed and Breakfast so worthwhile when we receive such fabulous feedback! We are pleased that we contributed towards your stay during the Food Festival and will be delighted to welcome you into our home again.

I LOVE staying here. It's not the first time I've stayed (and reviewed) and it won't be the last. Sue & Glyn make you feel so welcome. And it is an absolutely beautiful place. The rooms are well decorated and spotlessly clean! And although the house has been renovated it has been done tastefully and in keeping. Breakfast was cooked freshly and plenty of it. There's no rushing you. I stayed with a friend this time but previously had stayed on my own. We both agreed that even as a lone traveller you'd feel very comfortable staying here. Glyn recommended a lovely pub for us to eat at (The Dragon) and we couldn't fault that neither. We've already booked to stay at the White Hall in May next year. It really is a gem of a place.

we attended a family wedding at glangrwyney court on friday 13 th september. There was no accomodation available at the venue,so we had to find something close by. We found this little gem just 400yards away.
GLYN and SUE are the perfect hosts, nothing to much trouble. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast very enjoyable with plenty of fresh variety. To cap it all the b&b is on the oppsite side of road to the bell inn, so that night cap is no problem. Absolutely brilliant. We will return

My wife and I stayed here while visiting her brother just up the road - and we loved it!

We came all the way from Sussex to stay here and would make the journey again just purely to stay here - it was so clean & comfortable.

Sue & Glyn made us feel very welcome and gave us some great tips for our next stay - maybe I should come and see my brother-in-law a lot more!

The breakfast was lovely too and really set you up for the day - all-in-all, a lovely stay and we look forward to coming back soon!

I stayed at White Hall back in July whilst attending a nearby wedding over a weekend. I was impressed before even getting to the B&B as Sue kindly rang and warned us of big traffic jams near Wales and which roads to avoid! On arrival, Glynn was very helpful with showing us to our room and what a beautiful room it was - the decor was lovely and the en-suite really big! The following day Sue offered to take me to the wedding venue in her car as I was a bridesmaid and she didn't want me carrying my dress up the road! So kind. The breakfast was also really good and nothing was too much trouble.... even putting up a third bed in our room for my sister to stay in at late notice.
Thank you so much Sue and Glynn, I shall be back! :-) Jenny and Kim

We recently spent a couple of days at White Hall while attending the Green Man Festival at Crickhowell. The house is well located, beautifully restored with lovely features and they serve the best breakfast in Wales!! Large spacious room, bathroom with free wi-fi. The owners Sue and Glynn are very friendly and welcoming, they also recommended some great places for us to visit while in the area. We totally recommend driving to Tintern Abbey (Glynn's tip), it is stunning.
