We have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Woodfarm House. From our initial enquiry communications from Carl have been second to none. Plenty of useful information provided well before you are due to stay, making planning your special time away completely stress free. There are too many wonderful complimentary touches to mention; from the generous breakfast hamper all sourced locally, soaps, shower gel, shampoo, a wonderful Aladdin's cave stocked with games, books, music, dvds, no less than 11 bikes and dog towels for those wishing to bring their pet. If you are travelling from afar there is more local info than you could ever find time to explore. The house is nestled down a quiet country lane in peace and tranquility but close enough to the beautiful town of Framligham, village of Debenham and many more with plenty of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. We spent the day in Thorpeness and Aldeburgh en route home, it's very easy to fill your days! If you just want to stay home and chill in the house with its comfortable sofas, and home comforts, you will be just as happy. There are two separate garden areas, both with table and chairs and one with bbq for enjoying the early morning or late evening sun.
We had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the accommodations. We were so impressed that we have already booked our next stay for December in Deben barn with its luxury hot tub and were lucky enough to be able to check out the accommodation while we were there...we can't wait!
Thanks, Carl for all you have done to ensure your guests have the best stay!

“Perfect break”
Reviewed 19 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This was our second stay at Woodfarm Barns and we stayed in the Granary barn this time, from the moment we saw this beautiful barn we just started to relax. Carl welcomes you like an old friend and ensures everything is perfect for your stay, the breakfast basket is second to none and sets you up perfectly for the day. The garden in this Barn is huge and being dog friendly was just perfect for our dog Yuki who was also welcomed with open arms. If you are looking for peace and quiet, comfort and being throughly spoilt this is the place to come to. This was our second visit but we are already planning our next visit, 10/10 to Carl and The Granary Barn

“Picture Perfect”
Reviewed 22 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

From our first point of contact via email, it was clear that we would recieve a first class service. We were not disappointed.

I booked Woodfarm House as a weekend break for myself, daughter, 2 motorcyclists and my 3 dogs (aminiable, adolescent mad one, and geriatric spoilt). A motley crew, all with differing needs and wants. The beauty of this haven is it meets all expectation and caters for everyone.

A beautifully restored and maintained house, excuding charecter, charm and warmth - this house is perfect. The unique set out means a large group can have privacy while also providing great social spaces.

The location is ideal, rural and peaceful yet within easy access to explore all the locality has to offer.

Woodfarm House and Barns are a gem of a find and successful in essence due to their charismatic owner Carl. He seems to have thought of everything. From the utensils available to quirky details, his touch and passion are evident throughout.

We will definitely be returning.

“tranquil holiday storage”
Reviewed 31 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We arrived at our cottge to be greeted by a friendly lady called Alex, who showed us around and gave us some local information. The complimentary hamper was a lovely touch!
Amenities were well thought out, especially for dog owners e.g enclosed garden , wooden floors, and the position was great for local dog walks!
All in all ,we would recommend this holiday cottage to our ,friends.

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed 6 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Stayed here for a friends reunion,,,what a find,,,,totally relaxing and Carl couldn't have been a better host.
We had a lovely breakfast basket which we enjoyed on day 1 and was such a lovely touch.
The whole house had everything we needed for a total wind down weekend. In fact we wished we had booked for longer.

Rooms were lovely and the quaintness of the house just added to it's charm.

I have recommended to loads of friends already and I will most definitely be returning again.

Well done Carl on creating such an oasis of clam.

Hannah

“Perfect Family Celebration in true luxury”
Reviewed 22 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

What a wonderful find. From the minute we booked we were sent lots of useful info to plan our family break and it was all spot on

Woodfarm House was the perfect place to get us all together and with it's beautiful oak beams, comfy sofas, farmhouse kitchen and amazing log fire we couldn't help but relax

We had such a warm welcome from Alex and it really felt as though nothing was too much trouble. The gorgeous Suffolk welcome basket was just what the doctor ordered when we woke up in our luxury country hideaway

With the enclosed garden, the kids and the dogs were safe. There are some great restaurants and pubs nearby, not to mention stunning walks right on the doorstep

We loved it so much we have already booked to come back in the Summer. Thank you for our precious memories
