To any idiot who does not know what this cafe is about they should really open their eyes and understand the staff who work here before making negative comments.

Many of the staff who work in the cafe have learning difficulties and are doing a very brave thing by working in customer service.

The food was of a great standard , very reasonably priced, served quickly and tasted fantastic.

All the staff in the cafe were polite, hard working, and served with a smile on their face.

If only more businesses were willing to give people with learning difficulties a chance , maybe people would be more used to it and not leave ignorant comments.

Spent a lovely morning here with the family. We were surprised at the amount of animals we were able to see. The kids loved the freedom of being able to run around, the play park and of course the animals. Can't believe this is on our doorstep and it's our first visit. Will be back again and again.

We took a trip to see the aninals here with our daughter, we had a good look around and she enjoyed playing in the park. After we thought we would get some lunch in the cafe, it was fairly early around 11:30 It was a sunday and most of the tables had reserved signs on them. We found a table whuch didnt and got seated and started to browse the menu. A member of staff came over to us and asked us "how long we were going to be here?" I must have looked confused as he then said the table we were sat on is a table that someone else sits on every sunday. I told him it wasnt reserved. He said no but the same person sits there every sunday. If we were to order food we would need to move. He wandered back to the kitchen without taking an order. Me and my partner felt very unwelcome, we got up and left and went elsewhere. Our money/custom must not be the same as their sunday guest. If its that important they sit at the same table every week maybe it should have been reserved! its been almost a year and although we like the animals we have not been back, we wont visit again.

We had a brilliant party at the Hope Nature Centre on Sunday 6th July. The venue, staff, and general ambiance were all great and they made us so welcome, in spite of our strange clothes (the theme was 'to wear something inappropriate!) The food was really excellent, plenty of it and reasonably priced. Tom, a very unusual fellow (!) who runs the place, took many of us round the animal park in the little train - in fact we went round twice because he needed to charge the batteries! It was a great fun day with friends and family - try it!
