On arrival the lady at the lobby greeted us with enthusiasm and explained how the hotel worked. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in an executive room and had plenty of space. The bed was so cosy and wonderful, it was hard to get out of it some mornings! The room, including the bathroom, was spotlessly cleaned every day.
The employees are what make this hotel. The staff is so accommodating, friendly, kind and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make sure your experience is your idea of perfection.
Our many thanks to Sharon. Adrian, Liam and all the other employees who helped make our stay so delightful! We could not have been happier with our stay.
I was lucky to stay here thanks to a gift from my friends and what an experience. I can not fault ANYTHING about this hotel.

I will definitely be returning again.

This hotel has a great location and is situated on the shore, overlooking the Moray Firth and the North Sea in the village of Balintore. Hilton and Shandwick are on either side of Balintore making up the Seaboard Villages. The Royal Borough of Tain is only a short bus or car journey away, whilst Inverness and Dornoch are in easy reach. There are many pleasent walks in the area and the hotel is a good base to tour this part of Scotland.

We arrived mid November at 5-30pm and although the restaurant was closed mid week, they brought the chef in to cook a meal for us, which was much appreciated, having travelled from Manchester.
Our room was not large but contained everything we needed. It was clean, nicely decorated and had an extremely comfortable bed.
The owners were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
Breakfast was excellent and gave us a good start to the day. We had a meal in the restaurant. The menu offered a good choice and the food was cooked to a high standard with good presentation.

If we come to this area again we would certainly stay at this hotel

Room Tip: Ask for room with sea view.

Perfection. The hotel is beautifully located by the waters edge with panoramic views across the Moray Firth in a peaceful and tranquil setting. It is ideally situated for touring and walking. The Hotel and area is very dog friendly.
We had a most relaxing week stay. Our room was exceptional; comfortable, spacious, well appointed and with glorious views across the sea. It was spotlessly clean as was the hotel and restaurant.
The service by the proprietors and staff was second to none, they were all so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and catered for our every need. They created a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was great too, compliments to the chef.
The hotel is a real gem and well worth the 1000 mile round trip drive; a must stay here.

My boyfriend and I have just spent a weekend at the idyllic ballintore hotel. Just footsteps from the waters edge, the location could not be better for soaking up all that the beautiful scottish highlands has to offer! The warm and friendly welcome from the propriorter and staff was carried through in the service throughout our entire stay. The rooms are generously sized and very comfortable with all the amenities you could want. Everything was really lovely but I have to say the food overshadowed the rest! It really was second to none! Between us both we made our way through the majority of the menu and it just got better and better! Do not leave without trying the mouthwatering steaks and delectable homemade chicken strips!! We're already planning dates for our next stay!!
