We found The Old School House by accident 6 years ago and would never go anywhere else. We have tried one or two other places in the area, all more expensive and none a patch on the friendly, professional service of this one. An extremely hard act to follow.

This is, in my opinion, probably the best B&B in the Uk, certainly the best I have stayed in. I stayed with family (all adults) after a funeral. The welcome was warm, the rooms first class, the full breakfast fantastic. Livio and Lynda incredible hosts, as an example of the level of service this couple offer, how many B&B's do you know where the hosts remember how you take your tea or coffee when they offer you one on your return from being ou, having only made you one before. What more needs to be said. Fantastic

We turned up somewhat dirty - a family of six on bicycles. Livio and Lynda couldn't have been more welcoming - making us a cup of tea with lovely cake on arrival, entertaining the kids and taking us to the pub in the next village because the local one was shut that night. The rooms were lovely - modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. Excellent value for money. The only thing that they haven't got right is their marketing, otherwise this place would be fully booked every night and they would be charging a lot more!

From the warm, friendly welcome from Lidio & Lynda to the spacious & well appointed room to the scenic views to the magnificient breakfast (the omlettes are simply scrumptious) we cannot speak highly enough about this property. Lidio & Lynda have covered everything that the traveller would expect from a B&B - and all at a very reasonable price. We went back a number of times & the service was identical. This is now part of our "Must Stay" list for future visits to this area.
