“Very clean and comfortable hotel”
Reviewed 25 October 2011

My partner and myself stayed at the Premier inn in Rochester, the staff couldnt have been any more helpful, great location, lovely views across the Medway. Even tho we was near bingo hall, restaurants even a night club, there was no noise. Would recommend to others and we will definately use again.

I stayed at this hotel last week as a single female on business. Beautiful location by the river, amazingly helpful, friendly staff and a lovely room. Booked the room 2 nights before stay and still got fantastic value. Room right next to the train tracks, but heard nothing all night. First time I have stayed at Premier but would have no hesitation in staying again.

Room Tip: Was assigned room, no choice. Room next to adjacent train tracks, but no noise from them at all. Don...

My sister and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and overall the hotel lived up to the reviews here and we had a good time. You know what to expect from Premier Inn and this site delivered, though overnight noise from other guests was a problem on one night and when I raised it with reception, the staff did not offer to refund the cost of that night's stay, which I believe they should have done in view of Premier's "Good Night Guarantee". However, everything else was fine: the staff were all very friendly and helpful; we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and range of food in the restaurant (first time we have encountered one integral to a Premier Inn rather than adjacent; hope this trend continues) and the location is handy for the A2 and nearby motorways and rail services. Plenty to do in the area, too, e.g. visit two castles, explore historic Rochester and Chatham, shop at Bluewater.

Stayed during the first week of October, the hotel is new looking and very comfortable, in a very accessible location, the staff are friendly and helpful and the onsite restaurant has a good offering at pleasing prices. A couple of very minor issues were resolved quickly and without fuss. The price is remarkably low considering the quality when paid in advance and booked via the website. My only wish is for cheaper internet access. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: There is train line at the back of the hotel, it didn't disturb my sleep but perhaps with the wi...
