- Free Parking
Spent 4 nights here last week and its certainly up to Premier Inn's usual high family standards, with clean rooms and friendly staff. A good breakfast, with particularly great sausages and "bubble and squeak" on offer, just a little puzzling why you have to specifically order if you want a fried egg, (the most common order me thinks) as only scrambled eggs is offered as standard on the "help yourself" trays
If you want to be sure of a quiet room, ask for one on the front, facing the road, as there is a railway line at the back, although, with very thick double glazing in every room me thinks, even at the back, you would get a nights sleep, (given air con in every room so no need to open the windows at night) as we were at the front, with building works in the car park going on, and heard nothing
Re: the car park: note it can be difficult to park in the evenings, as customers using the nearby restaurants, across the road, park there as well. Premier Inn cannot put "customer only" parking restrictions on the car park, as they do not own it. However they say more spaces will shortly be made available but me thinks it might still be an issue in the future
A good hotel with comfortable rooms, ample car parking at most time in a fairly good location for central Rochester. The dining room was a bit Fawlty Towers with errors in the kitchen - kitchen staff appear to need some training. Good waitresses and front of house staff!
Reception staff at hotel very helpful, hotel clean and restaurant very good. Cinema next door also gala bingo and Hollywood bowl there is also a Frankie and Benny and Hungary horse so plenty to do in evenings. We stayed for 3nights and will return again.
Travelling from Wirral to France each year for our annual camping trip we always stay at Rochester the family insist on staying at this Premiere Inn for all the right reasons a good comfy bed, good food and close to Dover, makes the start of the holiday when we book in
We had a ovely time at Rochester premier inn, visiting Diggerland, Rochester castle and Chatham dockyards. The hotel had free parking and the beds were very comfortable, The staff were friendly and hard working.
