We had hired a driver/guide for a tour of the Bay of Kotor and he recommended this place for our lunch stop. Off the beaten track, we would have never found this restaurant on our own. As everyone else commented, the setting is beautiful, lush, green and serene.
It was a very hot and humid day so we chose a table that overlooks a pond with ducks paddling about. The table was set nicely and the waiter attentive but sadly, the food was so-so. I ordered a bowl of the seafood bisque and a mixed green salad. Both were tasty and light, just perfect for a hot day. My husband had chicken kabobs and potato salad. Really the kabobs were simply chunks of sauteed chicken on a stick, no seasoning or sauce. The potato salad looked promising but had so much green onion in it that it was all you could taste.
I still recommend a stop here. It is a very special place to dine but I would order something simple and not take the chance on ruining an expensive dinner by unskilled kitchen staff.
