“Misleading Marketing”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

Living nearby we took some of our visitors several times to Log Barn. We stopped it because we do not support anymore their misleading (to say the least) way of presenting their goods, labels etc, pretend a local/regional origin. If you look at the small print you'll read "product of USA. A particular serious example is apple juice concentrate. Being in the Okanagan with abundant apple orchards you do not even think of imports and pay for an overpriced product believing in the home- made look of the bottle. Recommendation: stay away - cute goats are only used to cover a very questionable business attitude.

“goats are the best thing there”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

We have stopped in many times with out of town company, but it has changed. The goats are a treat to watch. The products they sell are extremely pricey, their sales people are very pushy, the sausage is fulllll of fat and just a run-of-the-mill meat, same as you buy anywhere. Never have bought any; just the sample is enough. I did buy a pepperoni. Not much spice and again, a chunk of grissle - gag. The smoked guda was very good, but too pricey. Stop at Village Cheese if you want great cheese. Looks cute but keep a tight grip on your wallet.

“The Smartest Goats in the World!”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

Came across this place on the way to Kelowna - what a find!! The goat walk is incredible... the goats are super friendly and smart!! The goats turn wheels to lift up bowls of food to their overhead walkway!! Watch out for the tall black and white one... he tries to steal all the food and almost bit the charms off my Tiffany bracelet! haha!! Lots of delicious treats and great stuff to look at. A definite must-see!!

“They've got it set!”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

Like others, stopped into the Log Barn this past weekend. Had been there once years ago but thought "Let's stop again!"

Appealing decor- rustic and quite nicely displayed items in the food section. High pitch salesman trying to get you to buy their $35 dollar pack of sausage which is no better than a Costco garlic coil. Not many prices displayed on anything so when you go to ask, the high pitch salesman will tell you the price but make many reasons up of why you should buy the $16 pie.

The home decor portion is extremely overpriced. Saw a nice coverlet for a bed, made in China of course and asked the price. $289!

Unfortunately, if they could lower each item for a few dollars, they would skyrocket in sales. I was extremely tempted to buy the pecan pie but could not in my right mind justify $16.00.

“Logbarn worth a stop”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

A great place to stop and look around. From goats walking around above you on the goat walk to life size dinosaurs about the property to swan boats you can float around the pond . So much to look at and found it to be very clean. I appreciated all the antique nick knacks and loved the variety of wares to be bought . However you might wanna ask prices as I had to put some things back when I got my bill !! foof !! I realize its very good quality stuff but hoe man it seemed very high for the sausage and especially the beef jerky. I would recommended stopping there but be sure to ask prices and spare the awkwardness at the til !!
