“Beautiful Muskoka Location”

Sheila greeted us warmly into her beautiful home, gave us the choice of the three bedrooms, all with private baths. We chose the one with the balcony and view of the Shadow River. Perfect. We were served a delicious plentiful breakfast feast that fueled us for the day.

Room Tip: All great rooms. As well there is a self contained apartment that one could rent...sleeps 6.

Sheila Vaisler, owner/operator of Rosseau's Northern Landing B&B is a wonderful hostess! She is a very warm and friendly person and an amazing cook! The accommodations were clean and very comfortable! Sheila makes you feel like you are at home but still on vacation! My husband and I will definitely be back!

We spent the most beautiful weekend at Rosseau's Northern Landing Bed and Breakfast from February 13-16/2014. Our host Sheila was the epitome of graciousness and made our stay unforgettable. We arrived the evening of the 13th to the beautiful B&B and were immediately greeted at the door and given a tour. Our room was romantic and luxurious with Godiva chocolates on the pillows and a view to the river. Sheila, provided a late night snack and we slept like kings in our beautiful four poster bed. The next morning we were astounded by our gourmet breakfast and the attentiveness Sheila showed for all our needs. We were provided with directions to local attractions, full access to the games room in the basement, and charming stories of the beautiful Rosseau area and Muskokas. We spent the day at the J.W. Marriott having a couple massage and partaking in the 5 star spa ammenities (steam room, sauna, couples lounge). We were directed to eat at a local gem by Sheila and we had the most romantic and delicious dinner at Crossroads Restaurant. The following day we were again directed by our hostess to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we skated on the skate trail and took in the stunning scenery. We ate that evening at Cottages and again were impressed with the quality and the service. Each morning at Northern Landing we were met with the most impressive breakfasts and delectable baking. The decor of the B & B is impeccable and shows a true attention to detail and we felt spoiled our entire stay. We recommend this B & B highly and cannot wait to return for another romantic weekend away in the summer months. Thank-you Northern Landing for a truly unforgettable weekend.

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely B & B and could have stayed on for longer. The hosts Sheila and Peter went out of their way, Sheila cooked an amazing breakfast, Peter took us on a gorgeous boat rip around lake Rosseau to show us some "small" cottages. When it rained we sat on the porch and just relaxed with fellow travelers, once the sun was out we were out on one of the kayaks kindly provided by the hosts.
We can highly recommend this place at lake Rosseau !

Room Tip: We had a small room with its own balcony looking onto the river - VERY NICE !!!

I stayed there with my family in June. We were very pleasantly surprised by the place, a charming house on the river. Sheila and Peter are wonderful hosts. The bedrooms are spacious and very clean and the breakfast was a real feast! Everything was made easy for us.
I highly recommend it!

Northern Landing and Sheshe are absolutely wonderful. We spent two nights there. The Inn is beautiful, the rooms lovely, the beds so comfortable and the hospitality is the best. Yummy breakfasts too!

All the recommendations were right -on of things to do and places to eat.

We hope to go there again and highly recomment it.

We picked this B&B based on reviews and our expectations have been exceeded, we had a wonderful vacation and met a very special family!!! The hosts, Sheila and Peter, made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and have all we need. Sheila cooked up amazing breakfasts and Peter took us around the lake Rosseau on his boat. Sheila's nephew, Joseph, spent time with our two boys, helping them light campfire and showing how to fish. The Dormitory Suite was great, had its own well-equipped kitchen and a deck with barbeque. Bring food supplies if you plan to cook as large grocery stores are 20-30 minute ride from Rosseau. Driving from Toronto we stopped at Costco at Barrie, right off highway 400, to pick up perishables (milk, cheeses, meat, eggs). We took Sheila's recommendation to get a day pass at Clevelands House resort in Port Carling. It' s a 20-minute ride from the B&B, there is inflatable water park, parking right by the beach, chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas, and water park day pass is only $10. We went there twice and the boys really enjoyed swimming, jumping, sliding...The best vacation ever, we will be back!!!

Room Tip: Dormitory Suite is best for families
