If I could give it slightly above average I could (3.5). The selection is limited to tartes, paninis, salads and desserts. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean with outdoor seating. No relief from the heat, however, except glace (ice cream) I was so tired of bad hotel food I walked a long way into town to get something tasty. This was the first restaurant with a crowd. The tarte or quiche was very fresh and tasty and the lettuce with oil and balsamic vinegar was light and fresh. If this region of the Alps is known for its food, I missed the memo. A lot of quiche!
I bought the special: tarte or small salad or brushetta plus dessert plus espresso for 10.50 euros. Service typically French: just when you think you must be invisible they come by with water and interact a little.
