“Summer trip to Briancon”
Reviewed 11 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Service was great, met by host and shown all the facilities. Helpful guide to all the best bars and restaurants.
Property was excellent, it accommodated 7 of us easily with plenty of room for dinner guests. Enough room for children to play without disturbing everyone even though we were in the centre of town. Lovely bathrooms and kitchen was great- gave us plenty of room to have team cooking competitions!
Location was excellent, something for everyone in the family to do from shopping in the markets (right on the doorstep) to adventure playgrounds for adults and children to swimming in clear mountain lakes nearby.

Liked best the warm welcome from the local host and his lovely wife. Would definitely recommend this. Being able to hire the next door apartment at the same time meant that even very large (loud) family groups could get away and enjoy themselves.

“Great location, good facilities”
Reviewed 5 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We have used this spacious apartment with 4 persons during a 1wk ski holiday. The location is great, close to the Prorel ski gondola and close to shops (bakery!) and bars. The old town which has some nice restaurants is within walking distance as well. Plus, the apartment has a nice flavor of the country's 'culture de bricolage' :)
Pro's: location, facilities available in the apartment (Internet, PS3 incl DVD player, tv channels, fully equipped kitchen), welcome by local host, local tips for wining, dining and shopping
Con's: bedrooms are on one of the town's main streets which is not an issue with normal traffic but snow plough services in the morning can be a nuisance, parking facilities not included but plenty cheap/free facilities in the vicinity

“Great apartment in ideal location”
Reviewed 22 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Was surprised at the size of the apartment, very close to the ski lift and ski hire places, and even closer to the restaurants and bars! Plenty of space, great views of the mountains from the balcony, and well furnished. We cooked a few times and the kitchen has everything you need for almost any meal.

Very happy with this rental, will definitely consider staying again next time I come skiing.

“Ideal for a ski stay!”
Reviewed 22 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Stayed here with friends having previously visited Briancon a few years ago for the skiing. Found the apartment on line and being a naturally suspicious person wondered if it would live up to expectations, I am very pleased to say it does.
Fab location - right in the heart of things and only a short stroll to the main lift up to a great ski area.
The kitchen is fantastic, it really does have everything you need and I would happily have it in my own home. Apartment is warm and cosy, the under floor heating is a massive bonus. Great bathrooms and bedrooms complete what is, really lovely accommodation.
Would stay again!

“Well located & well equipped for skiing holiday”
Reviewed 22 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

We stayed at Apartment Klimt for a week whilst skiing and were instantly impressed impressed by the size of it. Ski accommodation is often on the pokey side but these are comfortably sized rooms and would sleep 8 with ease. The owners have decorated & equipped it to a good standard with sky TV, wi-fi and PS3.
Ideal for ski holidays as its located less than 5 minutes walk away from the Prorel gondola which takes you up to the Briancon ski area, this then links well to Chantermerle, Villeneuve & Monetier areas. It's also within walking distance of the old town with typical French restaurants and less than a minutes walk from a supermarket & other shops.

“Great place in downtown Briancon”
Reviewed 26 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

We rented both apartments for our whole family. The fit out is excellent and the location brilliant for the shops and restaurants of Briancon. The lifts are only a stones throw too. Highly recommended.

“A warm and cosy home from home.”
Reviewed 4 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We have rented many apartments and villas in our time, and can say, hand on heart, that Apartment Klimt Briancon is, undeniably, the best appointed, most charming rental, that we have ever had the pleasure to stay in.

Ideally located in the centre of Briancon, with easy access to the lifts, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The under floor heating kept us cosy throughout our stay. We were fortunate to have unseasonably mild weather at the end of November, but had it been colder there is a very efficient, stylish wood burner (we only used it once) to keep you toasty. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering and more. We were able to cook an entire roast dinner (yorkshires included), several deserts and all sorts of local dishes. To top it off there is a fabulous market where we could purchase excellent, fresh produce just across the road every Wednesday and Sunday.

We would highly recommend Apartment Klimt to anyone that asked us. As the title says it really was a home from home, and every bit as welcoming and stylish as the pictures suggest.

P.S. Possibly the most comfy beds we have ever slept in.
