Usually opting for staying in Chalets when away skiing, we decided to stay at Club Med as overall it was a lot easier to do for the week away, due to the all inclusive offer. Having previously stayed at many Club Med ski resorts, we knew the standard to expect, but unfortunately it wasn't up to scratch here at the Serre-Chevalier resort. Although staff were very friendly, and overall the facilities in the Hotel were great- being a vegetarian came to a great problem for myself. A large majority of the food being served I could not have, leaving with basic things like plain pasta and salad to have all week. Also having usually gone to the Swiss side of the French alps, the resort of Serre-Chevalier, located nearer to Italy, is very small and in terms of skiing (particularly to an advance level) can get quite same-y if the weather is good. But would be good for a beginner. Although admittedly everyday before leaving to go skiing staff gave out Sweets and Génépi and on arriving back they did put on good entertainment.
Overall I would not go back, and nothing more than average.
