While we didn't actually end up staying at La Bagnoseinne, Lesley worked some magic in assisting us to stay in the village, in 'another location' at the end of a long tiring day. Lesley went above and beyond and made the start of a two week holiday the adventure we were anticipating! Thanks so much!! Would definitely re-visit the area/village and would love to stay with you next time.

After staying with Lesley and John last year we were very keen to go back to experience their beautiful B&B, set in the middle of the rolling hills and fields west of Dijon.
Apart from anything else it's such a convenient place to break a journey when travelling further South, as many of their guests do.
Our welcome was as warm as last year (as was the weather); this year we had two friends with us who instantly felt the great atmosphere of their delightful old house and the warmth of Lesley and John's welcome.
We immediately sat outside in their quiet and secluded courtyard and drank tea/ cold drink. Even their elderly cat joined in the welcome.
John cooked us two lovely meals, including wine and cheese, also catering for my husband's slightly restricted diet, planning the meals to suit him to some extent. Local honey was on the table at breakfast, including many other "goodies" which change a little each day.
Will be back as soon as we are able!

Room Tip: All three rooms are attractive, all looking out onto the quite village street

Bike touring through France and heading from Reims towards Annecy we found the lovely La Bagnosienne b&b and a very warm welcome from Lesley and John... enjoying a great evening meal and good company we finally turned in to our very well appointed and comfortable room. Breakfast was a perfect start to what we knew was going to be a very long day of travel and a great send off from our hosts... it was very, very tempting to stay longer and our tour around Europe was in danger of going no further!!

We recently stayed for 2 nights in July. We instantly felt at home. The rooms were so comfortable/cosy. John's cooking was amazing and we really looked forward to our evening meal. John and Leslie are an exceptional couple, we reluctantly left after 2 days, wish it could of been longer.

If you're looking for somewhere to relax away from the pressures of the world, this is it.

This beautifully warm and cosy Chambres d'hote exudes an atmosphere of total calm, together with its genial hosts and the gentle decor which all add to the general feeling of well being.
The food served over my four day stay was just perfect and I very much hope to be returning with other members of the family as soon as possible.

We find that we are always planning our French holiday around a night or two at La Bagnosienne just to experience the hospitality of John and Lesley again. Simply superb hosts, they make you feel as though this is a home away from home. Can't praise it enough and John's cooking is just fabulous. The quaint village setting and the ambience of the property is what you imagine when you think of life in France.

We stayed here on the way to and from the Alps for a skiing trip - chosen mostly on the basis of excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed!! When we arrived our hosts welcomed us with a snack in their peaceful and secluded garden and later prepared a lovely evening meal for our us and our 3 children. John entertained us with his Basil Fawlty impressions (tongue firmly in cheek!) and Leslie introduced us to French village politics. Breakfast was great and still warm from the local boulangerie and then we were on the road again with one of John's maps for our journey.
Our return visit was just as good and Leslie soon had us all playing card games and teaching English to a French language student that was staying with them. A really fantastic place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit - we will definitely be back when we are next in the area.
