No other words will best describe this property. John Lynch has offered this beautiful condo and if you are visiting Grand Cayman, I would strongly suggest you consider here.

Nicely equipped, very scenic and quiet. If you are wanting the hustle and faster pace, maybe the other side of the island is the place for you. But if rest and relaxation is your goal, Blue S'Kai is the place to find it. Within walking distance of Starfish beach and extremely close to Rum Point.

Thanks John for such a great find. Highly recommended!!

I booked this property based solely upon TripAdvisor reviews. I had only been to Grand Cayman once before on a cruise and didn't get to explore the island. This rental property GREATLY EXCEEDED my expectations! It's a very pleasant and scenic ride from the airport. I was concerned about the distance from the airport prior to booking but the owner provided excellent driving directions. It's easy to get to and from the airport without directions, once you've driven it once. Basically you just hug the southern coast and then drive north on a road (Frank Sound Road) that cuts through the island. You then turn left...super simple! It was approximately a 45 minute drive from the airport. Rum Point which is an excellent beach on Grand Cayman is a quick car ride or short bicycle ride from the rental property. We spent most of our days at Rum Point but also drove across the island to Seven Mile beach several days too! We ended every day in the infinity pool right on the beach in front of our villa! The Kaibo Grill that is literally only footsteps away had great food. We ate lunch there a few times but had brought an abundance of non-perishable goods from the mainland to eat for our other meals. Expect to spend approximately $40 USD per couple, when eating lunch out on the island. We never ate dinner out but went to the grocery store and grilled out at the villa several nights right on the beach! The charcoal grill at the villa is in great condition and cooked some awesome meals during our stay! Rum Point is the hub for Red Sail Sports and dive excursions, snorkel excursions, Stingray City excursions and most everything can be booked there. They also have kayak, Hobie cat, jet ski, paddle board and other rentals there. My best advice is to not let the location of this villa deter your from booking. The villa was immaculate and was in a very safe and very high-end part of the island. We could have stayed at the villa all week and never become bored! There is a small liquor store (Water Boyz) a few miles down the road and a small grocery store a few miles down the road as well. I recommend visiting a Foster's, Hurley's or Kirk grocery store to stock up on the way to the villa though. All of the appliances were modern and worked great! We had all of the conveniences of home, including high-speed wireless Internet and television. My only mild disappointment is that the water directly in front of the villa isn't really great for swimming. It provides an excellent view but take a short stroll down the road to Rum Point to enjoy the beach! John the property owner was extremely resourceful. He provided an abundance of information prior to booking and answered my follow-up questions after booking. The check-in and check-out process could not have been simpler. A nice assortment of swim noodles, snorkel gear, bicycles and other items were available at the villa. We intended to use the bicycles but never did. That would have been a fun bicycle ride to Rum Point. I can't put into words how enjoyable this villa and location was! I have included some photos with this review and have also posted some video links below. Feel free to message me if you have questions. I know that I messaged several folks that had written reviews for this property prior to booking. Cheers!

There is nothing not to love about this gorgeous condo. My husband and I spent 10 days here in February, a welcome reprieve from the deep freeze of Wisconsin in winter. My parents joined us for five of those nights, and we took advantage of all the "extras" provided by the owner. We grilled outside the patio, swam in the infinity pool, walked the beachfront, and cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. Best of all, the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and patio all feature expansive ocean views. We loved the screened-in patio, which has a great table and 4 chairs for reading, playing games, or catching up over breakfast.

A few notable highlights: the Kaibo Beach Bar is next door, and on two nights, we walked over and ordered food to bring back and enjoy on our own patio. The condo comes with several bicycles and a huge stack of beach towels. Best of all, it's 1.1 mile (according to our GPS unit) from Rum Point, an easy 20-minute walk or 3-minute drive. Everything was flawlessly clean, from the interior of the unit, to the pool/hot tub area, to the beach. Also, we were really impressed by the property manager, Barbara. Our first full day at the condo, the unit above us was blasting music (full of F-bombs and drug references) at 9:30AM. A quick phone call to Barbara had the music off in 30 minutes.

The furniture and decor is beautiful yet functional. The condo felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. If you're looking to stay on the quiet side of Grand Cayman, this is absolutely the place to be.

Had a great stay at Blue S'Kai. John was fantastic to deal with during the planning stages, and all arrangements were super easy. Our request for an early arrival was handled smoothly and graciously as were all my many questions via email.

The unit is fantastic, very well appointed with everything one could ever want, and even some essentials left in the fridge. We stayed during a pretty quiet time when only a couple other units were occupied so many times we had the whole beach and pool area to ourselves. The sunroom is a huge plus, especially as a place to escape the heat during the day. It was nice to be able to do laundry before we left instead of coming home to chores.

We took the cruiser bikes to Run Point one day which was fun but we decided to stay at our own beach for the rest of the week. We ate at Kaibo every night including their beach BBQ which was a lot of fun and good food (see separate review). They even allowed us to bring take-out back to the unit so we could eat in the sunroom with a bottle of our own wine. We also ate Upstairs at Kaibo (see separate review) on our last night and while expensive, it was a fantastic experience and worth every penny.

The Dawn Stingray tour with Ocean frontiers left from Kaibo so it was very convenient especially for an early morning departure (see separate review).

The only nitpick I would have is that the master bedroom is very hot at night. The AC doesn't seem to cool it down as much as I would have liked.

“Excellent Stay”

My husband and I stayed the week of November 3rd and had an amazing time. The owner John was very helpful with all kinds of information such as things to do, driving directions, where to shop, dine and so on. The week we stayed was very quiet, many days we had the pool to ourselves and felt like we were in our own little paradise. The condo was exactly as described, it was super clean and very well stocked. Kaibo Yatch Club next door was nice addition, if we didn't feel like cooking and there are many good restaurants within 10 - 15 minutes drive. We can highly recommend this condo, thanks John for the opportunity and we hope to return soon!
